Every year we resolve to start doing stuff. How about resolutions to NOT do stuff based on lessons we learned this year?

Me, I'm gonna:
~ Not dye my hair red (again) EVER!!!
~ Not cut my own hair (again) EVER!!!
~ Not rennovate the house during the holidays :p
~ Not foster with the intentions they will leave -- 'cause they won't!
~ Not eat popcorn (I broke TWO teeth this year at two different times!)

So what do you resolve NOT to do?

The sillier the better :D :)

I resolve NOT to allow others to disturb my peace.
I resolve NOT to get involved and swept up in negativity and nastiness.

I will NOT wear socks while "shuffling" down the hallway (hardwood floors). I did this the Tuesday before Xmas and hit my head (right above my temple) on the door frame and landed on my elbow. Of course I had just been to the chiropractor after work that day too. He had the pleasure of seeing me again the next day.

I can't think of any others right now. I'll come back when I can think of some because I know there's MORE!

I resolve NOT to:

~get so exitiable about thinks I can't change
~Let negativity literally start killing me again
~eat junk foods (hard, but needed for my health!)
~forget my umbrella...I've been rained on too much this year!
~let the past bog me down

This coming year I will NOT fall back into depression. 2009 was a very good year and I intend to have good years from now on.

I'm with DJFyrewolf.

Not to fret over what I can't change.
Not to get bogged down in the past to the extent that I can't live for the present and future.
Not to be so negative.

And... not to avoid exercise.

not to eat out as much
not to work very long hours ( I can only hope)
not to stay up too late at least during the work week
not to have to spend my money on huge vet bills
not to stress out too much
