A friend told me about a stunning scenery. Tree trunks on a storage yard for wood. For some reason, they're were rinsing the trunks with water, and now the water is frozen. Not only on the wood itself, but in the entire environment. It looked awesone, and I tried to capture it. Too bad that the sun wasn't shining when I was there!

Kirsten,

Why don't you just go thru all the pics you take and put together a calendar.
You photograph so many brilliant things that you should be able to put together a few and maybe make a few dollars?

People are born with two eyes, It takes talent to show other people what they see with them.;)

Wonderful pictures kirsten. You really captured the beauty. These shots remind me of a spring Ice storm we has when I was a kid. i remember seeing flowers and apple blossoms encased in Ice, A beautiful sight that brought a city to its knees. We have 2 inches of snow on occasion but 2 inches of Ice I've seen once in my lifetime.

Because publishing a calendar isn't cheap, and I simple don't have the money! :o

Look at other calendars. Put some of your very best pictures together and send them to a calendar publisher. In the worst case they do not publish them. In the best case you get some money;)
Do you know the "Literarischer Katzenkalender". I know that the publisher Ida Schöffling always wants new and unusual cat pictures. I think some of Lily jumping from cupboard to cupboard would be purrfect. Now is a good time for the 2011 calendar :D

I'd buy one of those calendars, Kirsten. :D

These are absolutely breathtaking - and not just because it looks so cold!
