I decided to keep my photo edits all in one thread to cut on forum clutter. :D Below is the first one I added, the second is in its own post.

I was messing around with GIMP (a free photo editor, much like photoshop but it doesn't have as many features) and came up with this:

Its kind of random I know...but I was wondering what you all thought of it. Much  and thanks for looking!

It looks like what an artist would paint on a black canvas, with acrylics! :)

This I did last night, entirely and completely on my phone (including the effects). Playing around with it is a lot more fun than reading the manual  :D

I love GIMP! It's fantastic, and very user-friendly. I had so much trouble with photoshop, even for a tech geek it can be confusing. :o I love the first one, has a very eerie feeling too it, but I love sci-fi so the first thing I thought of was a UFO too, very cool! The second one is awesome too. Good job!

Thanks! The first one was inspired by a pic that got taken on my phone driving by this house with a ton of Christmas lights. I learned that my camera will NOT take clear photos at over 50 mph...

But messing with the result was a whole lot of fun. :D
