Hi fellow kitties!
Meowmie's PT calendar came today. How great to see all the pictures of my fellow kitties! I noticed the calendar has all the holidays and special days noted on it. With the holidays just about on us I thought it might be a good idea for all of us to check the calendar for possible Catmobile trips.

I do have an idea and would like your thoughts about it. How about going to Times Square in New York for New Years? We can watch the ball get stuck (Meowmie claims it will get stuck for sure this time but she says that every year), dance in Central Park till dawn, visit a few more sights.

Let me know what you think because plans will have to be made very soon.

Okay fellow kitties, the party is on!!

Hey there MooShho! So glad to hear you're joining us. Would it be possible to get another keg or two? I'll split the cost with you, let me know. Bring Buddy this time!

And my dear friend Pinot, I knew we could count on you to map things out and get everyone there safe and sound. You make our trips possible! Ill be in touch.

Hi Catada kitties! What's a party without the best in cuisine? We can always count on you for the finest restaurants and delis. You guys are the best and it will be great to see you again.

Lady Edwina, I've already received calls from some of the girl kitties. They're asking if you'll be sharing your sage advice on the proper attire for New Years in time for them to plan their wardrobes.

As always, everyone is invited! Check in ASAP, nobody will be left behind. I plan to see the local Jaguar dealer on Monday to be sure the Catmobile will be up and ready. Watch this site for updates.....

Cassie, great to hear from you!!! Everyone will be thrilled to know that you'll be joining us. Several years ago Meowmie went to New York City with her friends for New Year's and had a great time even though it was pretty cold.

While there, are there any places anyone would like to see? I hear that lots of the stores decorate their windows for the holidays and it's something to see! I'll talk to our very careful Catmobile driver about a drive through the city to check them out in Catmobile warmth and comfort. Be sure to contact Pinot or me if there's something you'd like to see so we can plan it in. And along with our fried chicken and crab legs, I heard Meowmie say something about shrimp too!

Check in one and all so we can kick off 2010 in true PT kitty style

Hi fellow kitties,
Wow, this is really shaping up to be one of our best excursions yet! It will be wonderful to meet our New Zeland friends and see the Kilearn crew again.

Miss Phesina, will Sparkler be coming? :D :D :D

Sophie, Aroara, Fister, Luna, Lily, we need to hear from you! Grandma, Chester, and Winnie, come on and join us. There's plenty of room in the Catmobile for everyone.

Funny thing is the local Jaguar dealer said she wasn't surprised to see me. A new sound system is being installed in the Catmobile in time for our trip. We can get the Catmobile whenever we decide to head out. Pinot, I need your input on this so I can let them know at the Jaguar dealer.

For those of you coming in by plane, let us know if you'll be coming into Newark Airport or Kennedy Airport in New York so pick ups can be coordinated. Anyone coming in by train, get the Amtrak to Trenton and you'll be picked up at the station.

Pinot, is there still time for requests of sites to see? Meowmie asked if we plan to go ice skating at Rockefeller Center (silly Meowmie).

Check here for updates and to let us know if you're coming.

Yes there is time to pick more destinations for the trip-we all have to make sure to see what we want to, just let me know so I can program it in! Groucho (and Momcat), we will be at Rockefeller Plaza a couple of times - you're welcome to ice skate if that's your pleasure!;) Cassie, of course we'll go through Central Park; we have some patrol horsies to visit! Sparkler, you'll look wonderful all dolled up - have you talked to your buddy Aroara? Haven't heard from that crew?? Nikkita and Lexie - it'll be wonderful to see you - it's your first trip, isn't it? Anything special I can plan for you? Edwina, how's the wardrobe coming?

We have to come to a mutual decision, kitties; are we leaving before or after Christmas Day? I'd like to be home for Christmas, but if I'm outvoted I'll have to deal. Input??

Hi Pinot, As always you're doing a dynamite job pulling this trip together with so many fun things to see and do. I've been thinking about this and like you, I want to be with Meowmie and Soncat for Christmas. It's always a fun family day around here plus Meowmie gives me turkey for dinner. Yummy!

My vote is to leave maybe December 28 or 29. That way we can get the best of both holidays.

We will be arriving in Newark in time to start on the 28th. That is good, because there is usually some smoked salmon here at Christmas, so we won't miss out.

It has been nasty cold here for the past few days and we all have new scarves, hats and mittens for the trip. We will all be having a manicure before we go too.

We are so excited!

Hi Pinot,
I just talked to the Jaguar dealer and we're all set. The Catmobile will be here on December 27 so Soncat and I can load it up for an early start on December 28.

Anyone coming in on December 27 can jump on the train to Trenton. You'll be picked up at the train station and you're welcome to spend the night here at my place. Be sure to let me know.

Along with our fried chicken and crab legs, there will be plenty of tasty shrimp. Meowmie has agreed to make us some pumpkin pie too! Yummy :D

Another thing has been added to our trip. The night before we head back home, we're going on a dinner cruise on the Hudson River Line around Manhattan. The view of the New York City Skyline and the Palisades is awesome. There will also be a band on board for singing and dancing.

Come on fellow kitties and check in. It's not too late and there's plenty of room for everyone. If there's something special you'd like to see, call Pinot so it can be included. Be sure to pack for some cold weather.

Pinot, I'll call you on your cell phone about our time frames.

I hope you and your purrents are having a wonderful Christmas with lots of tasty treats and fun new toys to play with.

Be sure to contact Pinot or me as soon as you can. Nobody will be left behind and everyone will have a ride.

We don't know for sure what the weather might be so be sure to bring warm stuff. Pinot and I will update you over the next few days.

Of course they can come, Cassie! All kitties are welcome on our trips and we will be happy to make any accomodations necessary for them. Everything will be done to make sure they're safe and have a good time. As you already know, we watch out for each other. It's so nice of you to think of them!

Okay, fellow kitties, the Catmobile has arrived. Soncat is helping me load it up for an early take off in the morning. According to the latest weather reports we might be in for some cold weather and maybe some snow flurries. There are plenty of warm blankets and soft pillows in the Catmobile so we're sure to be comfortable.

Get a good night's rest and be sure your cell phones are on. We'll call you from the Catmobile when we reach your neighborhood so nobody has to be outside in the cold. Meowmie just picked up the fried chicken, crab legs, and shrimp. And the pumpkin pies smell so good!

I can't wait to see all of you again!

I have just had the briefest of messages from the girls saying that they arrived safely and were picked up with the other kitties. They needed all those warm tartan accessories to get to the catmobile, but of course, once they were inside it was warm and comfy. They thought it was a lovely touch to have a Christmas tree with mousie baubles in the car.

That was all the information I got though. They were too excited about seeing all their friends again. Wonder what they are doing today?

Hello all purrents!

This morning we had a BIG thrill - BREAKFAST WITH SANTA!! It was so much fun - Sparkler got on his lap and they had a wonderful conversation, Cassie interjected some thoughts for next year's gifts already, my sweetheart Roco had some very quiet things to say that I couldn't hear....hmmm.... we'll see where THAT goes!! ;)

Today we're doing some tours on Park Avenue, visiting with some of our horsey friends in Central Park, and going to see the Nutcracker tonight. We have a private box with all kinds of treats!

Tomorrow's the big day! Thanks for letting us come to the Big Apple!! :D

Hi Purrents,
Groucho here. Just want to let you know that everyone is having a wonderful time and we're on our very best behavior. Our horsie pals were surprised to see us and we were all able to meet up for a nice dinner together. The horsies said they expect a busy night tomorrow as large crowds are anticipated.
The breakfast buffet was out of this world! With so much to choose from we all had to go back a few times to get a taste of everything. Full tummies all the way around.
Something has been added to our trip. After the festivities tomorrow night, the Catmobile will be heading to Boston's Fenway Park. Santa surprised us with VIP tickets to the hockey game! When we went ice skating at Rockefeller Center, Elmer and Bob were practicing their slap shots while Samantha, Daisy, and Lexie wowed the crowd with their cheerleading skills.
Time to leave for the Nutcracker. See all of you in a few more days!

It is a tribal dance, by our indigenous people here in NZ, the Maoris, used as a greeting or challenge, our famous rugby all black team perform one before they play, although it has caused some controversy to say the least, i really cannot understand why?

So the girls went to classes to learn and do it for you as a greeting of course.
If you go to www.youtube.com you can see one performed.,type in Maori Haka and then you will see the link and you can see it.

Now on to New Year's Rockin' Eve, which starts at 10pm, for the rest of the festivities! We have a very special place there as well, as special guests of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony.

Got a message from Groucho. The Catmobile crew is having a great time at the hockey game in Boston. Bob, Elmer, and the Catada kitties were thrilled when both teams invited them to join in on the warm-up practice before the game started. Cassie and Sparkler joined Samantha, Daisy and Lexie in cheerleading and they were a huge hit. They're really enjoying the game while filling their tummys with cheesesteaks and New England chowder. After the game they'll meet with the teams then head back to New York City to see a few more sights. The dinner cruise on the Hudson River Line is scheduled for tomorrow. Hi fellow kitties,
Did we have a blast or what?!? I'm so happy that all of you were able to make the trip. The Catmobile is back at the Jaguar dealer and the service manager said his crew will start checking it out so it will be ready when we plan our next trip.

Meowmie was so jealous when I told her we were with Marc Anthony, she likes how he sings. I reminded her that we get VIP treatment every place we go.

When I arrived home there was a surprise waiting for me. Soncat completely rearranged his room and a few of my best hidey spots are gone. That's okay though, he gave me a brand new bed in there. It's ultra comfortable but it's so cold in Trenton that I still go under the comforter with him.

Nikkita and Lexie, thank you for teaching us the Haka dance! Please be sure to join us on future Catmobile trips. Fister, we missed you! Don't worry, you're definitely in on the next one.

Well, I have an early day in Cat Court tomorrow and must get into my new bed. Thanks to all of you for coming and making our trip so much fun. Also a very special thank you to all the Meowmies that made sure we had all that wonderful food.

If any of you get any ideas for another Catmobile adventure, be sure to post in and let us know. Looking forward to seeing all of you again.

Would you like to come to Chicago in February, kitties? The new 101 Dalmatians Musical will be here, or we could take in the Joffrey Ballet "Cinderella". Maybe you want to plan your return to the Windy City when the weather is more reliable, though.
