Four year old boy killed by dog (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/8386023.stm)
Breaks my heart to even think of it. Poor, poor, little boy. :(

It's sad that the residents had complained about all the dangerous dogs roaming about but it took the death of a 4 year old to probably urge them to take action. Maybe not, though. The article said that a 5 year old died as a result of a dog attack a few years ago and still nothing has been done. Beyond tragic is right. That poor family.

There are brief articles about other children being attacked by dogs as well. I don't understand. . . ? Are they guard dogs that are out of control? What's going on? I have never seen the likes of anything like this in my life?!?

So sad for the family and such a terriable way for that child (or any child) to die. Is it that dogs are more dangerous than they use to be or just that it makes the news more?

I saw a update on today's BBC. Someone was operating a illegal breeding
operation. Poor little kid.:(
