Since I won't be on early tomorrow I figured I will start it tonight. ;)

What's your favorite invention or inventions?

Mine is the computer - internet
the microwave - shower - oven, stove, etc. :)

The computer/internet and the microwave. I wouldn't be able to be on PT without the first one and I don't like to cook so the microwave saves me here.:)

I had to stop and think about this a bit. Decided HEAT is the best thing ever.

Without being warm, the rest just doesn't matter, to me.

Clothes is the best invention ever. I don't like being naked and I certainly wouldn't like to see most other people naked.

Mine is the Keurig coffee maker. It makes one cup of fresh coffee at a time and I just love that. No waste of coffee anymore, this was a brilliant idea and I use it every morning.

I asked one of our patients who was 101. I had to ask several times as she is hard of hearing but sharp as a tack. She said the washing machine, which is understandable, years ago with large families doing the wash was an all day back breaking affair. Just making cheese or soap was difficult.
Birth control is right up there for me. It freed women so much.
I love a warm house in winter and cool in summer.
Another very important one is pain meds, penicillan, and ether, imagine what surgery/ dental work was like before patients were put to sleep.

Gosh, I don't know! Maybe the scientific method? That allowed lots of important discoveries to be made. In my own life, I couldn't live without a laptop, or at least a computer of some kind. :)

For all those naming computer, phone, internet,tv or anything electronic we can thank a few inventors at Bell Labs for the transistor. This is the greatest invention of the 20th century because all technology today is based on its application.

Animal shelters (one in particular), without which I would not have Cassie, without whom I would not have found PT :D!
