What 5 famous person/persons do you most admire and why?

For me -

I like Carrie Underwood - she has such great feel good music.
Ashton Kutcher - he's hilarious!
Cameron Diaz - she's hliarious and a great actress!
Adam Sandler - he's funny
Queen Latifah - she's hilarious

What 5 infamous person/persons do you least admire and why?

For me

Kanye West - he's just a jerk.
Rhianna - although I like her music she is trashy.
Eminem - he's just disrespectful.
Nelly Furtado - she drives me crazy!
Sugarland the group they drive me nuts.

MOST:
Maya Angelou - great visionary, wonderful and inspiring speaker/poet.
Jimmy Carter - a great advocate for many wonderful causes, especially the homeless, also an impassioned, but soft, speaker. A very giving man.
Barack Obama - (I know I'll get it for that one) - he's attempting to make real needed changes in the way this country is run. He's also bringing dignity back to the United States in the eyes of other countries. Diplomacy is a wonderful thing that has been missing in that office for some time.
Jackie Kennedy - the epitome of class and grace under pressure.
Bono - If I must pick someone entirely from the entertainment industry, Bono is high up there. He has devoted his life to causes deeply ingrained in his soul and he stands by his convictions.

LEAST:
Jerry Springer - I don't think I need to explain that one.
Lindsay Lohan - No class, no talent, too much drinking in the public eye.
Paris Hilton - Why are we exposed to her? No redeeming value whatsoever.
The Cavemen on the Geico commercials - speaking of no redeeming value...
Kanye West - again, obvious reasons....

Mrs. Obama - strikes me as stylish, informed and not afraid to express an opinion
The Queen of England - who has quietly weathered decades of tragedy in her family, in her country, and is still dignified and gracious throughout
Margaret Hillis - founded the Chicago Symphony Chorus
Billy Graham - minister, evangelist, adviser to Presidents
Mike Huckabee - political commentator, former governor, musician



What 5 person/persons do you least admire and why?
-Vick, for reasons previously noted
-Michael Jordan's son - why was he, of all people, given a scholarship? And why could he not have just smiled and worn adidas for a few years?
-Michael Jackson's family, for turning his untimely death into a publicity stunt
-The person who came up with the Geico commercials with the googly-eyed stack of money - second only to their cavemen on the ugh list for me

Oprah Winfrey-cause she has done so much for so many people and especially for children.
Steve Irwin-I know he died, but I really admired him for all he did for animals. He really cared about them.
Shania Twain-I don't know if some of you have heard her life story or not, but she went through a lot when she was younger and put her career on hold to be there for her younger brothers and sisters. That's gotta be hard to do.


I can't think of anymore right now. If I think of more I'll post the other 2 :)

Jack, my dad- orphaned young, self made, perfect person

Least:

Lindsay Lohan-ick
Paris Hilton-double ick
Animal Abusers- not to mention any kind of abuser
Tom Cruise-triple ick
Spouse cheaters

This is kind of a hard question! Two people I thought of that I really admire are:

Jane Goodall- Animal researcher and activist, and a vegetarian!
Gandhi- How could you not admire him?
