Dachshunds are the best! I had 2 standards growing up and had a miniature that I lost in March 2000 at 15 years old. I now have a 3 month old named Gracie. You really can't ask for a more loving dog. They are truly the best.

While I consider myself a bassethound person I recently rescued a 3 yr old mini form a local shelter-Lily has fit right in with my pack and I'm just thrilled with her.
