I love autumn leaves, and it's one of my favorite times to take photos!

Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful pictures, Barry. Now I've taken a mini trip to Canada. Leaves are everywhere aren't they? I'm surprised you have any leaves left on the trees by now. I can never understand the tree shedding process.

Wow, and those trees look like they will be dropping their leaves for you, too.
I doubt I would ever get my yard cleaned up! :)

He he, Barry, I think you have lots more leaves than I have! Lovely to enjoy the shade in summer, glorious for the colors in Autumn and then comes . . . clean up time! Hang in there, I know what that is like too.

Hi Barry - I understand your frustration. Here is the problem from another side. I have three huge Maple trees in my front yard. I have people come each week to cut the grass and clear the fallen leaves and I clear them in between their visits. The stormy weather we had this weekend blew tons of leaves off the trees and all over not only my yard but all the neighbours as well. Yesterday I collected 12 bags of leaves but that was only a small amount of what is there. My driveway alone took six bags! Hopefully my garden guys will come today and clear the rest. I feel badly for my neighbors but what else can I do?

It's actually a good thing that trees with big leaves drop them in the winter. Anyone who's experienced an early snowstorm has been through the tremendous damage fully-leafed branches covered with heavy wet snow can do. (It doesn't make them any easier to pick up, though!:p)
