I had to use my vacation days by the end of October or lose them for the year. So, I just did stuff around the area with Cameron

We visited the Crayola factory first

Which had an awesome river and canal museum. Cameron learned a lot about the canals, locks, etc. He even got to see what pulleys did. He had a BLAST in the museum... not sure if he enjoyed the canal museum more than the crayola factory

Then we did Hershey Park.
He RAN to be the first in the fire engine.

Yes, he ate the entire candy bar. All of it. Himself. Though that plan backfired.... we wanted him to be bouncing off the walls to go back home to mommy. He REFUSED to leave us that night. He sat on our bed saying "you tell her!" (meaning we were supposed to tell Ashley that he needed to stay with us)

I went with my friend and her son... it made me appreciate how brave Cameron is. Her son is 2 years older than Cameron and wouldn't go on most rides. He was bawling over the idea of the kiddie roller coaster. Cameron wanted to go on the loop coaster and was mad he wasn't tall enough. He asked if he's be big enough next year. :p

I had so much fun on my vacation. It wasn't much, but its what we could do.

Its it Easton, just down 78 - the last exit in PA before you get to NJ. It really was a ton of fun... and of course we stocked up on anything Crayola.

What FUN he had!

That pic with him and the pumpkins - would make a fabulous Christmas card...or a very frameable photo!

Didn't YOU try the pulleys too? :p:D

Hope your holiday was refreshing. :)

Crayolas were invented in Peekskill, NY! It looks like you had a great time with the grandbaby! (Not such a baby anymore, though.)
