Speaking of in the middle of the street: once while driving down the road (an average road-not a back road) a cat was sitting directly in the middle...bathing. She looked up from her bath to see the car coming at her and the continued to take her bath like "I'll be done in a moment IF YOU DON'T MIND!!"
We had to laugh at her attitude before shooing her back to wherever she belonged.

I had a cat like that, many years ago, Lucy, she would not move out of the drive way, we had to get out and move her, til she was a little older, then I guess she got the idea!

When I was growing up we had a dog named Lucky that would lie in the middle of the street. I guess her name fit her because she never got hit by a car. :)

Ah, so cute!

I'm happy that my cats don't spend time on the street. They only relax on our terrace. We have a very busy street, and I don't like them wandering around. Eddy loves to sit on the steps outside our house though, in the sun, watching the traffic.

I guess the pavement is warmer, Tango likes to do that too. Very lovely cat. :)
