We went from summertime to normal yesterday. I didn't realise until late afternoon and still haven't put all my clocks back. Three of them changed automatically, though, so I better get the rest set! Ugh, I hate when it gets dark so early!

I always thought it was @ 2am not midnight. Has that changed as well?
I dunno - my cellphone changed itself yesterday in the middle of the day. Twice. It was WEIRD! So I turned it off for a few hours and it reset itself.

I had noticed some posts on Facebook, that folks in Europe changed over.

As mentioned, we now change at the end of the month. This year, it will be on Halloween night! Not sure if that is good . . . or bad.

Standard Time, Daylight Savings Time, makes ya crazy, twice a year!

You're *right*! - 02:00 (2:00 AM) is the "official" time to change ...
In the Fall, as soon as it becomes 2:00 AM Daylight Saving Time -
you crank to ole clock BACK 1 hour to 1:00 AM STANDARD Time ...

Just in case that 1-2 am time period didn't go so well for you ~
Ya get a Free RE-DO and can try for better results on the second pass.

Suggestion: Be sure there's only ONE 'clock changer' on the loose! :p
One Fall there were TWO of us that decided to change the clocks at
the Fire Station --- THAT made for some interesting situations!

Don't Forget ~
CHANGE those Smoke Alarm BATTERIES, too!

Keep a sharp look-out for "confused" clocks ...
A LOT of Digital clocks and Appliance timers were "tought" the "OLD" dates
for the start and stop of Daylight Saving Time --- and since "we" changed
the rules to start earlier and end later in the year ...
A LOT of clocks and timers now get it wrong every year!

And don't forget to adjust your Sun Dial out in the back yard.

I used to dread working 11-7 on time-change night. Something would always go wrong, either the computer would go kaflooey, or we'd get an employee calling off for day shift at the last minute, or we'd run out of something you can't work a shift without. I am so glad those days are behind me!

Phred, thank you for reminding me about the smoke detector. I have a combination smoke and CO detector now, so I have to get the instructions out and see what kind of battery it gets.

We're chasnging this Sturday. I'm not looking forward to having supper with the lights on, makes it look too much like summer is gone forever.

Next weekend for me in Pennsylvania. I truly dislike this time of year. It is dark when I go to work and dark when I get home. I just want to hibernate like a bear. When the snow starts flying I will get very anxious because I do not like driving in snow. I will fret and fret about it until I get home from work. Ugh. :(

Yeah, when we got home this past Saturday night, the VCR's and computer set themselves back.

We had to google to find out when DLS was since we didn't know. :o

I hate when the time changes. For some reason people seem to drive like idiots, or more so than usual.
