I know they are around, but I seldom see them. Caught this one AND he paused to look straight at the camera!

I had to rescue one from Pinot's mouth the other evening! Very nice you had one pose for you, and such pretty flowers! :)

Awww. I absolutely adore mantids. I used to have one as a pet, named Prangy. :D

That is so cool! Praying mantises are really neat looking bugs!

I haven't seen one in years, but yours looks darker/more brown that the ones I've seen. Do they get fall colors?

:) Such Nice Pics.. You know you dont see them much anymore.. Now you do know after they mate then the female eats the head of the male..
