How to find a lost dog.......

Ok, I know you all might think that I'm crazy, and well frankly that just might be true. Anyways, a few years ago, three perhaps, my female chi was stolen from our porch in California. I was wondering if you people still think I have a chance of ever finding her again. She looks just like the Taco Bell dog and was stolen around the time the commercials came out. She has a scar on her shoulder from abuse and a bent and crooked tail. She is a senior chi and has some arthritis in her front feet. I have NO pictures of her! It sucks, I miss her so much and still think of her all the time. Any suggestions?:(

I would write to every vet in your area, just in case, as well as Chihuahua rescue groups, shelters, animal control ... describing her as thoroughly as you can, and telling them that you still miss her. Perhaps, if she's still around, you might be lucky enough so that someone makes the connection.
