Well, I can't "root, root, root for the home team", because they ARE a shame (have you SEEN the Orioles?), but there for some reason is nothing like a baseball stadium hot dog! What is it about them? So...
I'll have one (maybe two ;)) dogs w/mustard and, since it's a ball game, I'll have a brew.

Pinot's mom, the Pirates were just as bad as the Orioles this year. I'll be rooting for the Phillies in the playoffs. RICHARD, I'll have a hot dog with everything and coffee with Bailey's in it.

Well thank you very much David! ;) It's good to know that at least one cheer is going up from the Pittsburgh area, although my niece now lives out there now and hasn't forgotten her roots! ;)
No alcohol for me today Richard. I want to have a clear head when they win game two today (fingers crossed). Maybe an iced tea with a slice of lemon. :)

My teams got elimniated before the all star break lol but I wouldnt be opposed to a stadium brat with saurkraut!

Wellllll... The Cubbies are out, the White Sox are out, we lost the Olympics in the first round ... and ... the Cubs' rival St. Louis is in the post-season. And it's 50 and raining in Chicago tonight. Could I have a beer, please? A Budvar, since I'm part Czech. And a Chicago-style hot dog, please. I've brought two essential ingredients, poppy seed buns and bright green relish.

Well, I'm not much for sports but I love playing with meatballs......;) especially if they are swimming in tomato sauce smothering a plate of spaghetti.....
For those who don't know, it's our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend so we get Monday off. :) Lots of sports going on up here this weekend - the sound of the TV will overpower the conversation around the turkey.:rolleyes:
