I got the same thing on DOTD and COTD. I have sent Karen a PM. I'm sure they'll get to the bottom of it. Just sorry that I couldn't read the stories of the beautiful animals that were featured today! :(

Rottie, please keep that message in mind and go to Cat General>hacking.. We are already dicussing it there, but I too have gotten that before.

   For the second time in the history of Pet of the Day, our websites have been defaced. I have a lot work to do.

   Rottieluver45, would you removed the content of the hacker's message from your post.

   I will post an update once I have made some changes. Thank you to everyone who alerted us to the break in.

Hu,Yea it was!! It scared me ,cause my home page is DOTD and It came up black insted of mstly white and I kept reloading the page to see if It would go away and it didn`t.Scary.

I just clicked on the link of that site I had saved, and it went to DOTD!! Thank God, but I still have that site minimized on my taskbar... I don't want to X out of it, then we will never see it again. Well I guess that's what we want. Anyway, my friend thought I was nuts cause I was saying "look at this site and do not repeat what you see", and she thought I was crazy, cause she got the DOTD instead of the site! Go Paul!!!!

We thank everyone agin, and are working on fixing everything. Okay, Paul is actually doing the real work, I'm just worrying and checking.

I was not even able to access the Pet Talk at all.
I just kept getting the Hackers false message.
I was going through Pet Talk with-drawls.
It's good to be back. :)

I tried to vote and kept getting some message about it being invalid. Would THAT have anything to do with the hacker????

Moosmom, I have the same thing going on, but I do not think it would be anything involving the hacker(s). I do not know why it happens, but it is not a hacker message, it is the Pet Talk bulletin message. It is annoying, but I can deal with it, I can just go and check the results and post my opinion.
