I added pics on my signature! I was just wondering if anybody had a problem seeing it or the pics aren't moving or something. If not, then how do you like it??

Perhaps it would be a good idea - as Karen asks, if we try and discipline ourselves and keep the signatures a bit smaller! Some of them do take up a lot of space. A lot of people still has rather slow modems and small screens.

There are numerous threads about how to resize! :)

Is there a way to figure out how big our signature is??

Right click your pic and then choose properties, that should tell you how big it is... (it's about 14kb so no need to worry ;) )

Oh, there is a size limit?? Mine aren't big at all! In some posts I just don't post my signature, like P, C, and DOTD because it takes up too much room. I didn't know they had to be a certain size..oops!

Well I don't know, you have to ask that from Karen and Paul. I just told you what the size was, that's all.

Bigger in file size doe not mean bigger in screen size. Your Animated one takes up a lot more bandwidth than, for example, JackiesDaisy's bigger-looking image of the cartoon in her signature file.

Your animated one, as Randi mentioned, is 87K! And that doesn't count all the other, smaller graphics you have, all your graphics added together makes up 116k! Her "big" cartoon of Daisy and Perry is only 24K - right around the maximum size we'd like people's signature images to be.

So if you could re-do your signature, that would be great, and consider, as was already said, that some people have slow connections, and when someone has a big signature graphic, it can cause the page to NOT load at all, which we would rather avoid.

Oh, OK, so I have to get rid of my pet picture?? I tried to resize it, but it said it was already small enough or something. I want to a have pics of my pets, though. Well, okay, I'll do it. At least I can keep the bunny pictures.

What does it mean if it says the size is 900 bytes? That's really big right? Or is that smaller than KB, like milimeters and meters?

A kilobyte (KB) is 1000 bytes, so 900 bytes is a little smaller than 1 KB.
