Okay, okay... I wouldn't quite label them as "adventures", but here a few recent pictures of the dogs:

Ethan and Sala went on their first camping trip with me... in the backyard! :-D
Since the weather is getting cool I will be doing much more camping and this year I want to take one or both of my dogs with me. I figured it might go a bit smoother if they are actually used to the tent before we go on a real trip, right?

Ethan had a great time, which was surprising. He used to be so timid and high-strung that a night in a tent would have been a headache. He has really changed this past year.

lol, Sala looks pretty gross here. She needed a bath, and it is safe to say that she got one first thing in the morning.

Bed hair!

Its been so nice lately that the dogs (aside from Sala) don't even want to come inside half the time.

Sala is, by far, the boss of Skylar. Then again, at her old home they said that she would boss around their Great Dane. :-D She is an ornery little girl.

I love this picture of Ethan! He just looks so happy.

And Mr. Photogenic, Skylar.

And I bet you are thinking "How can such an ornery dog have such a sweet face?"
Haha! Believe me... she is rotten.

A few more in the next post....

Yesterday we took Ethan to a local state park. He had a blast!

He was treeing squirrels left and right. :-)

A view of the lake. We walked all the way around it plus some.

Haha, I think we were both caught off guard.

One happy pup on the ride home! :) Thats another announcement to make... Ethan has gotten so much better about car rides! In the past he would nearly give himself a heart attack during car rides, but now he just chills out.

Thanks for looking!

Great pictures! I LOLed at camping in the back yard. I've done that many a times growing up. We recently took our three camping.. All I can say is... Make sure there's enough room for EVERYONE to sleep. We immediately went out and bought a 2 room tent after our trip. Three dogs + 2 people was like tight in a 1 room tent.

Yay, yay, I am glad the camping in the backyard was a success and what a lovely place for a walk! Your dogs are so precious!

lol, I bet that was a fun night. Luckily I like to camp alone, and my two dogs are on the small side, so we weren't crowded at all. I even think my Eureka Timberline will suit us just fine.
