I am just appalled.
I just saw a video on CNN.com about a couple who lost thier kids for a month and had their house turned upsidedown by the police because they had taken 13 pictures of thier partially naked kids having a bath.
They went to develop them at Walmart and the employee called the cops.
That is just crazy.
Eveyone has naked baby pictures during bathtime.

I read about that too. They went through hell for quite some time.

This is just insane...personally I don't think there is anything wrong with naked baby pictures so long as there is no deviant intent behind them. YES I'm sure there are nasty people out there who get some sort of sexual thrill out of them and those people do not need to be around kids period. I think there is way too much parinioia about things these days. :( Its sad that there are people out there that make the paranoia at least partially justified.

That is effing tragic....

I grew up with pics of nude babies atop the ersatz bear rug, hung on the wall.

Again, we are nothing but a nation of paranoid people-and it not against a certain 'crime', it's the idea that it smells like a crime.

OMG!!!! What next?? I don't think there is anybody in my generation that doesn't have a stack of pictures of themselves in their birthday suit.
What is wrong with this world today??

Richard::::I agree!!

Not porn. I can't count the naked baby pics my mom has of my sisters and I.

That's just so sad. I hope the parents win their case.

If that's the case, then I promise, every parent in the USA is guilty.

How absurd.

Now, if they kids were twelve years old .... maybe different story.

Porn is certainly in the eyes of the beholder. I don't think they count as porn if they were not intended that way.

Yeah this isnt the first time this has happened. Im betting the photo tech was just worried about his own A being coverred from the overzealous PC nutjobs out there.

What the heck is wrong with baby skin, or skin in general, if there is no malicious intent? We have such a warped sense of "propriety" in this country. We'll tolerate no end of violence, but anything that even has a nanogram of s*x associated with it is met with a hue and cry!

Oh my Lord! I have pics and videos of both of my kids in the tub when they were babies. They were some of the most memorable times of their childhood because they LOVED to play in the tub. I never really had many bath toys either. They were happy to just have two plastic cups and pour water back and forth between them. There has to be something else going on here with this story maybe?

I am guilty of it too! I think a child's naked little body is the sweetest thing. I had someone get all over me one time for letting my twins bathe together, a boy and a girl (at the age of 2-3). She was always on my case about how WRONG it was, how sinful it was.. My answer to her always was that if she sees it as something dirty and sinful, SHE was the one with a dirty, sinful mind! To see sin in the innocence of a child, in my opinion, takes a really warped mind!

I know someone who has two family members that work at Verizon. These employees were told specifically that ANY photos taken on their phones and sent of any nakedness were grounds for termination.

I have also heard of photographers 'forbidden' to take photos of naked kids older than 1 year. Not sure of the truth behind this, but, that was what I was told.

Crazy.

That is just awful! Those poor little girls, I really hope they are getting over the trauma of just being up and moved for a month from their parents that obviously love them.

My boyfriend was just showing me a gift he and his brother gave to their mom one mother's day.. the contents? A naked picture of each of them in a frame(mind you when they were younger). Their mom absolutely loved it and hung it in her bedroom. I highly doubt she would ever consider that porn.
