All-time scariest movie I've seen: 28 Days Later. Quite a plausible premise, great camera work. I usually don't like gory movies but this one somehow had it in context so it didn't bother me quite as much as usual.

Creepy indeed. I felt like I was sitting there having a nightmare. Yikes! But it was the beginning of my love for David Lynch (guess I'm a glutton for punishment).

One of my all-time favorite movies is "Rosemary's Baby". It's an oldie but so very extremely well-done. Every time I watch it I catch some nuance (sorry Blue!) that I hadn't seen before. Love it!

"Darkness" was a good one too; "30 Days of Night" and believe it or not, an obscure rather new movie called "Dead Birds". It was on cable for a while and I avoided watching it because of the title (for obvious reasons), but it has nothing to do with actual dead birds (which was a relief). I ended up watching it by mistake because I didn't realize what it was and it scared the bloomers offa me!

One of my favoites is Wishmaster (the first one, the sequels were kind of bad ) I also love the very first Night of the Living Dead movie and the Final Destination Series.

Edit: Rosemarrys Baby is a pretty darn good one too.

never heard of that one.

I got one...it's an old one but I thought it was SCARY. "let's scare Jessica to death" and, "race with the devil" ( I don't think I will watch the devil one again eek!

oh and I like old black and white movies, so I thought the "uninvited" was good, not scary in the same way todays movies are but a good one.
