Observers think that strep throat may have been the cause of his death.

I think it was Speed Metal and Rap Music, but what do I know?:rolleyes:

Although Antonio Salieri once stated that he had killed Mozart (See the movie Amadeus), I had heard often that Mozart died of kidney problems. Before the advent of antibiotics, dialysis and transplants, many people die of kidney disease, secondary to a strep throat.

When I was in nursing school, I took care of an 18 year old, college freshman who had a strep throat - then died of kidney failure. Horrible way to die.
