News on this is still sketchy, this is what I can gather:
It is a aftershock of the 2004 earthquake that made the deadly tsunami
It struck near the Andaman Islands near India
It is now classified as a 7.7 earthquake, which is a major earthquake.
Tsunami watches are in effect for India, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand, and Bangladesh.
Japan has issued a Tsunami warning due to a 6.6 earthquake. I'm assuming its the same one, but it could be one related to the earthquake above.
If anyone has anything to add, please do so.
May God have mercy on their souls, if there really is a tsunami heading towards them.
EDIT: There was two earthquakes, one off India and one off Japan. Tsunami warnings issued.
