Rose of Sharon, that first photo, awesome! I LOVE those. My grandfather had some in his yard. When he (and grandma) moved, he took clippings. Later, my Dad and all the other "kids" took some to THEIR homes!

Dad has tried to get some of his down here to my house but they just won't take. :(
