Born fighter: Patrick looks healthier and has put on weight
Dirty Dancing star Patrick Swayze appeared to be winning his battle with pancreatic cancer when he was snapped visiting a fast-food restaurant in LA with his brother.
The actor - who has finished a course of chemotherapy - had put on weight and was sporting a new goatee beard.
Swayze, 56, was virtually unrecognisable from earlier this summer when he looked painfully thin and weak.
But it is clear he is still taking medication for the disease as he was clutching a bag containing tubes which went under his shirt.
Earlier this year he vowed to fight the illness every step of the way, saying: "I've never been one to run from a challenge."
And he credited his wife Lisa Niemi with getting him through his illness. He said: "I have no greater respect for any other human being on earth like I have for her."
