Brandon & Jessica's wedding! *Update on Brandon* #18

They got married yesterday and there are pictures!! Sis said it was a lovely wedding and there were plenty of tears. The icing on the cake was that Brandon's Grandfather flew in from Florida and HE is the one who married them! Imagine, having your own grandfather marry you! That, to me is such a nice touch to the whole event. Brandon got married in his Dad's back yard and his step Mom did all the decorations and flowers, Jessica's sister made their cake.. Very nice, indeed. You'd never know that Brandon ever had a sick day in his life. He and Jessica are a beautiful couple, Layton is a cutie pie and all is right w/the world. Best wishes for a long, prosperous, healthy and happy life together for the beautiful family. :love:

Thank you for posting the wedding pictures. What a happy couple.
I love the fact that family chipped in to make the cake and do the flowers. It somehow just makes it more meaningful and everything is just lovely.

How about a update on Brandon? Sis called today, still excited about the beautiful wedding and I asked her about the MRI last month..

There results were, the tumor on his brain stem has not shrunk or gotten any larger, however it did show a cyst on it and they will need to address that by possibly putting a stint in because if it ruptures in there, it will cause him the same problems he had in December. She said he is doing so good right now that to look at him, it is hard to believe he has this terrible thing wrong with him. He is still on the oral chemo every other month..

He wanted to go to Oregon for their honeymoon but with this thing in his head and knowing his situation could turn critical any moment, they went to Seattle where his doctors and hospital would be close by if he needed them. Layton stayed with family while the honeymooners went away.
