Update

Thanks to those of you who purchased a book. So far books have not been flying off the shelves, but out of 60 books that I bought to sell, I have around 15 left. There was an article in our local newspaper, and an article is upcoming in a nearby publication, so maybe sales will pick up. I won't venture to surmise the reason for slow sales. The bookstore owners warned that summer time is the slowest time for them.

The shelter has a fund-raiser planned for the fall, and those plans include inviting me to read from the book and sign any books that have been sold so far.

Just wanted to post an update to anyone who might be interested. There are many worthy and needy charitable enterprises, and our local animal shelter is just one of them. So thanks again.

I would love to read it, but have been very *broke* this year. (Surgery and no pay for a long time, half pay for the remainder of the time...)
