Or so he thinks anyway. Today Steve is 40, and feeling somewhat down about it. His little girl started her first official job yesterday at the beach (that's work?? :p) and after her senior year in h.s. coming up in Sept, she will be off to college. And his baby boy will be a teenager in less than 2 months.
So on Sunday, we will have an official Over the Hill Birthday/Father's Day celebration for him - complete with the black balloons and decorations - just to make him feel better about it.:eek:
So Happy Birthday to my baby boy, with wishes that the best is yet to come.

Amazing how our kids get older and we don't, huh? My son and I are the same age now. ;) Happy birthday, Steve, and an "atta girl" to your mom!

I tell you what, I will never take my health for granted again, as soon as I get better I plan on getting in shape, this has been a rude awakening!

Like Mary's siggy say - "Time and unforeseen occurrence befall us all". I, for one, have learned this only too well the past several years. But - I plan on being around a lot longer - so this is a warning to all! :D

As I tell everyone "Don't think I'm gonna check out early. I have no intention of making that many people happy all at once".

I thought 50 was the new 40? Or was 60 the new 40?
