Happy 14th Birthday Taz!!

My little boy is 14 years old. I put his birthday today since he was just a few months old (approx) when I got him in Sept of 1995.

I had planned on taking some pictures of him this weekend, but my weekend was super busy. That's probably a good thing, because Taz is not looking so good these days. I weighed him the other day and he down to 7.5lbs. Which is WAAAYY to skinny for him. He looks good around 14 or 15lbs.

So we've got a trip to the vets all scheduled for this Thursday and I'm going to encourage them to take xrays. Since that's what the vet told me the next step was to be a few months ago if he continued to lose weight.

Sorry I don't have any pictures to post. Once I get some I'll make a "just because" picture thread.

Thats great that Taz is reaching such a mature age, but its sad that hes losing weight.:(
I would ask your Vet if there a supplement that you can add to his food to help Taz put weight back on.

I bought Juke Joint Joseph some Royal Canin Baby Kitten Food as he loves it, and that will be easier for My Heart Cat to eat while his gums heal.
We are praying that Tazs Vet Visit goes well, and he can put his weight on, and be well.

I am feeding him a fattier food and he gets plenty of treats.
