My husband was watering the other night and realized two eyes were watching him.. We have lots of birds but this is too sweet.

I have to keep a close eye on potter now, the mother makes quite a bit of noise when potter walks out there.

We sleep with the door opened, I heard screeching here and there. I counldn't go check with my cast so this morning my hubby went, he saw one set of eyes so hopefully everything is okay.

A word of warning....gorgeous birds but they can be very mean when protecting their young. Just walking UNDER the nest can be dangerous....just ask Edwina....:D;)

Well miss Lady Edwina needs to hold her ground and wear a better hat! The family is all fine, they were out teaching the babies the ropes today so I kept potter locked up tight.

Well it seems mom and dad have abandonded their teenagers...smart birds!

The teens seem to be doing okay, however they were just sitting on the ground today..not a good idea with potter around, we locked him up good today. My husband found a big clump of bluebird feathers..hopefully he wasn't a victim or potter.

I am surprised that the parents have just ditched them:eek:
