I am so sorry everyone, we had an error with the server for our sites, and one with the Pet Talk database, so we had to close it.

It is now reopened.

We know we lost one thread that was being created at the time, and I have emailed jess (King2005) to let her know.

I hope everything else is okay, do let me know if you have any problems! Right now everything appears to be running smoothly.

Thank you, Karen - and sorry for your problems. You know I was about to panic, but all is good now. :D

Thanks Karen! That happens sometimes. I figured you were doing maintenance or something but I was close to going through withdrawal. :D

Ok:

MySQL Databases *do not* like forums, obviously.

WHAT does this mean?

MySQL is a program, it does not hate databases like Reggie says. Our server itself had an error, which then caused an error in the MySQL database on which Pet Talk relies.

Does it count if I am sorry even though I was busy during that time and didn't realize you went down? ;) Glad you are UP!! (Hey, maybe we should make a movie with that title! Rats, someone just did!)

Yes. Yes I am. :P
Linux does not = Unix, for various reasons, but heh.

And, it seems that every time the Ubuntu Forums goes down its related to a MySQL Database error. Then again, their servers suck in the first place, so that could be a factor too.
