Mikey is amazing -- watch the video, all he wants to do is head bump Callie. Callie doesn't quite know what to make of it. She's never met a cat who would approach her; they typically run from her.

I don't know about dogs in his llife. He's from the apartment building next to my house. The people who gave him to me told me his name is Mikey. It fits him, so thats what I call him. Odd thing is that my boss is Mike, and I often call him Mikey when I want something "ummm... Miiiikeeeeeyyyy, I need your heeeeellllpp." :o


And yes, he's got me wrapped around his little paw already. I think the catnapper tabby count is about to move to 6.

His manner reminds me of "Friend Kitty" a cat who was around long before I was born. His alternate name was "crankcase" because as a kitten he fell into a pan of crankcase oil, and even his own mother wouldn't clean him off.

He never figured out Ma's Mastiff at the time wasn't his buddy, and he purr and rub up against its legs as he was trying to chase it away ...

Cute video. Mikey definitely wants to make friends with Callie. I love seeing cats giving head bumps to dogs. It happens a lot in my house. Mikey is a very handsome cat. :)
