I bought a new dragon tree today which I placed on the top of the kitchen cabinet. I had one before, for years, and the girls never cared about that, but today, Lily found the new one and before I caught her, she ate the tip of five leaves. Needless to say, I was more than worried (and felt guilty that I brought such a thing to our house!). I called the vet clinic where they said she probably didn't eat enough to make her ill, but they told me to watch her closely and call again in case she starts vomiting, or drooling. So far, nothing happened, and - needless to say - I put the dragon tree away, out of reach for her - hopefully!

Lily was really mischievous today, even before the episode with the dragon tree happened. She was very interested in my redecorated kitchen today, look what she did:

From there, she jumped onto the top of the door:

She jumped onto the kitchen cabinet and reached a shelf from there, where she was busy inspecting my vinegar and oil bottles:

Here, she's in my new waste paper basket; she thinks I bought it for her.

Please keep her in your thoughts, I really hope the dragon tree didn't do any harm!

I'm sorry Kirsten, but I just had to laugh at Lily's little antics, but I am definitely not laughing at her eating your Dragon Tree.

Big time prayers on the way that she didn't eat enough of it to make her sick.

Lily, please pretty girl, stay out of mischief and no more eating meowmies plants.

I forgot to add what lovely pictures as usual Kirsten.

OMG!! I was cracking up at her standing on top of that door with my mouth wide open!!! That is far to funny! Lily, you have been full of yourself today and you better calm down beofre you do some real harm!!

I hope that plant don't make her sick!! Goodness!!

I see now why the pictures of the girls come out so pretty.. The COLORS you choose for your house accents theirs! You are a lot more daring than I am with colors... yea, guess I am from that old school but boy! Those are some pretty colors you pick out! I admire your taste!

The amazing thing is that Lily was able to jump around your apartment without knocking anything over, something that I doubt that any of The Found Cats could do!!!!
:eek::eek::eek:
And we pray that the taste of the Dragon Tree was not too tempting!!!
:D:D:D

Well, she was having a grand ol' time, wasn't she? Kinda difficult to be mad at her when she's so cute and has such adorable facial expressions, isn't it? We'll send up a prayer, though, that she won't get sick from her epicurean adventure. :)

This naughty girl is still in an inquisitive mood! Running around all over the place, obviously very excited about all the new things and colors here. :)

Thanks! :) Yes, I choose some really daring colors this time; I was so tired of the old look. And of course I always make sure that the colors suit my girls! :D

Lily, please Please don't munch on that plant again. I hope it will have no ill effects. I love the picture of you in the basket. There is something about cats and baskets, I think. I enjoyed sharing your adventures today!

Lily has always loved boxes! :)

She's fine, btw, so I hope the plant she ate has no effects on her!

I think she would be showing some kind of sign if it was and I'm so happy to hear that she is fine.

Sweet, adorable Lily, please leave meowmies plants alone from now on, okay sweetheart.

I will buy some new young coconut palms tomorrow, that will give them something they can chew on without getting into trouble. I removed two bigger ones yesterday because they chewed them down completely, but they seem to miss them and now they are looking for something else to chew on. And just in case you wonder... There's kitty grass for them, too.

Lily, you sure are quite the high jumper! How great that you and Luna both approve of Meowmie's new kitchen, from the pictures I definitely agree with you. Sending tons of scritchies to both of these beautiful girls
Now, please don't eat the plants ;)

I am always charmed by the adventures of Lily and Luna. You certainly have two beauties! Give your girls a tummy rub and a hug for me.

How is that lovely girl today? Any signs of illness?

I love the picture of her on the door! She's kind of looking around like...OK I got here, now what do I do? I can relate to the bottle shelf as well - Pinot is very fond of the window sill behind the kitchen sink. Unfortunately, there are four things made of glass in that window - she manages to tiptoe around all of them (so far) though! I hope Lily continues to tiptoe around the bottles, too! :)

I think she HAD to check whether you painted the upper corners nicely- and yes, you did.
Tigris ate some chives lately and I didn't find out until he barfed the whole green mess on the carpet  - it's ok as long as they are ok afterwards.
