They seem to know the cat's can't get them and will run back and forth to taunt and tease them. I heard the taletail thump and bump of someone hitting the window and the screetch of the nails on the glass This goes on all summer at my house. I think this one might be the one the neighborhood begger got the other day because part of it's tail is missing.

S:Dalamander on the screen, right? What do you mean the "beggar got its tail?" Yup I can see the tail is blunt end, but who is the "beggar?" Sorry if I've missed something.

Oh my, I bet that is quite entertaining, watching them from the inside as the cats go nuts! LOL great catch to show us, thanks Laura!

 No Sandie this not a Salamander.. They are water lizards.. This is a garden lizard or a geico.. I have two families of them that live around my back porch & in the oak trees.. Yes they drive my cats nuts too.. Wait till one gets in the house with the kitties.. Yup thats lots of fun too..

Post # 31 tells that story about the lizzard..

These lizzards eat bugs so they are good to have around.

Oh Laura, that is a hoot. My guys would also be going nuts if one of those were on our window. We don't have lizards around here, so I have no worries about that.

My cats would go crazy too.:) They go nuts if they see a leaf blowing in the wind.;) We have many lizards here in CA. In fact my parents have one in their back yard that hangs out in the same spot every day. It even chases the other lizards away. It's safe for now because my parents don't have any animals.
