Last night on the news (ABC World News) there was a piece on a couple of guys who marketed bacon salt, and now Baconnaise, but the link doesn't work, darnit!

Bacon Salt (http://www.baconsalt.com/) has been out for awhile now and I still havent tried it. The Baconaise is fairly new. Whats not on their site yet is the Bacon Lube they are test marketting.

I have a recipe for mayonaise and I been wanting to try my hand at making it with olive oil.. NOW, I will be tempted to try it also with bacon in it.. THAT would be SO good on a BLT!

You wouldn't need the actual bacon on the sandwich, just the mayonnaise. :D

There's a 5 page thread on Amazon about bacon.. One person posted this: Bacon Explosion (http://www.bbqaddicts.com/blog/recipes/bacon-explosion/). Also, Bacon vodka and bacon jelly beans... interesting.

Bacon lube sounds gross. Baconnaise sounds like it would be good on a sandwich.
