I have been contacted by someone who wants Italian lessons.
Mostly conversation and some grammar work.
I have no idea what to charge.
What is the going rate per hour for tutoring a foreign language?
Thanks

You know Italian? WOW! I would love to learn that too, not that I would have anybody to speak it too...

Maybe about the same as tutoring? Most tutors I know charge $15-20/hour.
Have fun! :)

I was thinking more like $35 to $40. It's hard work and takes patience.

Very cool! I was thinking of going to night school (2x a week) to pratice my lousy Spanish from high school. I went into an Hispanic grocery the other day and was able to make myself understood in *baby talk* but I realized I remembered a lot (except conjugating verbs..ugh).

I may be doing ASL lessons, and I am charging $15/hr.

:) If I remember right when I had a tutor to brush up on my German I paid $30.00 per hour once a week..
