Pouncer says his mommy looks naked without her beautiful tabby stripes! :p He hopes nobody shaves him like that. What a VAIN little boy she had! Did I miss a reason why you gave her a lion's cut? Is she ok healthwise?

Bonnie is fine (other than being toothless due to stomatitis), but her hair is SO thick!! And she began to blow coat and prefered not to be brushed. So it was easier on all of us to just shave it. SHE LIKES IT!!!

She looks lovely with her new "do"! She likes it? Hummm... I wonder if Boo would? Boo's fur is so thick and plush that it knots worse than any cat I have ever seen. In the 28 days I am gone, the sheet I keep over my bed to catch all her fur has clumps and clumps all over it, plus I find clumps all over the place. I brush her 4 or 5 times a day and that helps but she still sheds worse than any cat I I ever saw.. She is no longer able to groom herself and has come to love brushing.. I never though of having her shaved.. I will try to remember to ask the vet about it when I take her back in 10 days..

All your babies are so lovely. I am so jealous of what you do and how many cats you have, that has to be heaven!

Toothless and hairless, poor little girl, but she still looks so pretty! I may have to totally shave my Pidge again. I thought maybe shaving just the hindquarters would do but she's matting where the shaving left off and no amount of sweet talk or treats will soften her enough to let me brush her. I think I'll show her Bonnie's pic and how pretty Bonnie looks and remind her that warm weather will soon be here to stay and she'll feel so much better. :) You look precious, Bonnie girl.

She's adorable and I bet she feels so soft and smooth.:) Too bad you don't live near me or I'd have you give Storm,Sky, and Ziggy lion cuts this summer. Last year was the first time that I did this to them and they seemed to be much more comfortable. I don't have AC so it helped keep them much cooler. Now it's going to be an annual thing around here.

Yes, we could do with you here as well, Jen. Longhaired Bam Bam (Bramble) needs so much grooming and Annie girl is prone to matts on her flank. But our shedding blade brush works wonders :)

We hear you Jen!!! Norton is due for his annual shave to get him thru the summer....I keep combing him, just so he will not forget that he DOES get groomed, despite his protestations!!! Bonnie looks very cute!!!
