http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/hideydog4.JPGFritz this morning snoozing in his "hole" behind the couch.He heads there right after getting out of bed.He finally went out,I carried him out, then gave him a brushing.He was curled up on my lap then beside me tail started going this is at 25 to 9,wanted the toast so he had that and gave him the cereal bowl,then got down and had Mom's toast.Had Roast Beef and Caesar Salad for supper,dessert was Cinnamon Caramel Ice cream fried Tostada pieces in it,quite good.Had a play with his Monkey after supper,carted up and down the stairs after that,had a snooze under the blanket of the small couch then under it,looks like he would get out and want out,wouldn't go right away,he was teasing me.He had a good sleep,he is having one now in Mom 's chair in the living room.Had a few flurries of snow this morning,nothing to write home about,36 degrees now.

Auntie Bev called yesterday,she was in the hospital all day on Sunday with pains in her stomach,not sure what it was ,no closer to finding what is making her tired. My Uncle has Shingles,it is a rash that can develop anywhere,his is around the eye,was going to the doctor again today.

I hope Auntie Bev finds out soon what's wrong and it's nothing serious.
I know someone that had shingles a couple of years ago. It's such a painful disease. I really hope your Uncle has a short bout with it. My friend had it for months afterward. I think it's something to do with damaged nerves if it hangs on that long. She had to take alot of medication when she had it.:(

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/hideydog5.JPGFritz in his "hole" behind the couch this morning.Last night ,stayed mostly on Mom's bed while she wast gift shop then at a meeting at church to do with the Salad Luncheon on May 6th.he only came out when he was barking at something he heard or had to go out.he was there when at the door when Mom came home,had to go out,then came downstairs,had some Raisin buns and Cheese,he had some Buns.He was ready to go up when we did , right to Mom's bed and was going to hog a blanket Mom needed,he moved and sleeping next to a pillow.Went to living and to his "hole".He had been with Mom on the couch,Mom is in her chair now,Fritz on the couch snoozing up against a pillow,good day for it wet and rainy out side,tomorrow nice and 55,may get some more outside work done on the flowerbeds.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/holeynap.JPGFritz this morning in his "hole" again.Last night he stayed on Mom's bed while she went out.She had a good time.Had she shoulders massaged,had hors d'oeuvres and some wine and saw the movie "Mamma Mia",a little different than the stage production she saw or it I think 2 years ago.Mom went with a neighbor we have known for years,she is 90 and still drives.they all got a gift bag,one thing in it which was $10 off dinner at Kelsey's.he came down here after she came home and was on the back of the chair,we went up around 10,he first came to me and then went to Mom,has a little trouble jumping on her bed,I get there to help and he decides to jump and make it.When he gets up goes to the back of the couch to his "hole" to sleep.he was in the window when I was doing some yard work out in the garden.Has had two plays with different stuffies one of which was the Monkey after supper.which was Lasagna and Caesar Salad and Life Saver Ice cream,it's new and was good,Fritz did too.Getting rain tomorrow maybe an inch of it,next week turning cooler with a possibility of snow on Monday and Rain/Snow mix Tuesday,temperatures from 34 -39 degrees all week,glad I got yard work done this week.

What an all around great boy you are, Fritz. So much excitement in the house and you don't miss a thing. Mom is really an active lady! She must have alot of energy and a great zest for life. That's fantastic.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/drydoggy.JPGFritz in the front window trying to stay dry today.It has been raining here since between 6 and 6:30 this morning,windy also,maybe an inch of it,breezy also.Last night,Fritz kept sitting looking a tme,thought he wanted out,he didn't he was teasing,wanted a Iams bone the one time,other times he would do it he would go behind the little couch and lay down.Another time I asked him he was on the back of the chair,he was begging he ended up under the little couch sleeping,he wanted to go to bed.He went up with us,had the rest of his supper,went to the chair then finally I had to get him,he was growling so got him cheese and went and picked him up and took him to Mom.This morning had cereal and toast,had to slide the tray with the cereal closer to him and he is still afraid the plate with the toast,takes the toast off and goes and eats it somewhere else.Just a few minutes ago,Mom had to get him cheese as he grabbed a shoe of hers and was under the table with it.He had been snoozing in his "hole" behind the couch and on it next to a pillow half flipped over.His picture wasn't one of the finalists in the contest,don't know why,thought it was cute,that's their loss I guess.Today has been 7 years since Ruffles was put down,feeling kind of sad about it.Tomorrow is Clio's(Fritz's father} 8th birthday.the breeders that had him don't breed anymore so i don't if he is still in Wiarton or not.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/watchtime.JPGFritz looking out the front window this morning.Had a little rain this morning and a few snow flurries,still quite breezy,rain or snow on Monday,not very Spring like.Begged for Iams bones, and water,earlier ahd a play with his Monkey,sure loves that toy!Had some Raisin buns,he had some.Supper was Lasagna and Caesar Salad,he had some ,had some Life Savers Ice cream too.He couldn't to go up to bed, as soon as I turned off the TV, he was off and waiting to go up,went out first then to my chair where he growled and barked,nothing outside,had to get cheese and carried him to bed.Fritz was in my chair this morning,after I had the cereal,his tail went and held the dish so he could have it.After this tried giving him my toast,wouldn't eat until he had Mom's did that and came and finished mine.He is now down here loioking a me,just got him a bag of Beneful food and he heard me filling it.Now he took off back upstairs.

Mr. Fluffy Boy is hard at work, guarding the yard. Good job, Fritz. You look so nice and freshly brushed. I just saw a dog show on Animal Planet and there was a Bichon on there. I prefer your look , Fritz. The show Bichons are sometimes too puffed up in the hair on top and around their head.

Sounds like the weather is kinda gloomy. Stay warm, Fritz, and keep figuring out ways to get cheese.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/holeynap1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/holeynap2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/holeynap3.JPGFritz in his hole yet again this morning.I took these many since I wasn't sure where his head was so I made sure I got that in.We went to Kelsey's for supper,I had a Cheddar Sirloin Bacob Burger and a Caesar Salad and Mom had a Chicken Clubhouse Wrap and Cheese and Broccoli Soup,Mom save some chicken for Fritz which he had when we got home,he was waiting for us,I had some as Mom couldn't finish it ,it was good.Fritz later had a snooze under the blanket of the little couch.I lifted the blanket so Mom could see him,he pushes the cushion out enough so he could fir nice and snug,Mom was telling Marlene this on the phone and referred to Fritz as a "little devil" meaning he was smart for what he did..Fritz stayed upstairs when Mom went to a talent show with a friend,first the window and then Mom's bedroom.He didn't come down right away when Mom came home,got him down with cheese as he was barking at something.He had a good sleep,got up went to his "hole" and after coming out he had my cereal and toast.he goes to mom's bedroom when we went to church,it was Palm Sunday,little kids going around the church carrying palm leaves,there wewre baptisms and people reaffirming their faith,Mom wants me to do this next year,the reaffirming part,I was already baptized after I was born since she will be 80 next year,I will be 50 in September of 2010.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/couchbed.JPGFritz on the little couch last night.This is what he does when he crawls under the blanket and pushes the cushion out enough so he can snooze.We had Steak tha Mom cooked in a frying pan also Caesar Salad,Fritz had some ignored his,had Lifesaver Ice cream for dessert,he finished his supper before bed but apparently brought it up before coming to bed,ate too much too fast.He came to bed around 20 to 11,slept good,head was under the pillow when I saw him this morning.He went top his "hole" for a bit then came out and he got up with Mom took him out,didn't stay long,raining again,might get a inch or so of snow later on areas west and north of Toronto are getting 6-10 inches so we are getting off lucky.A rain/snow mix tomorrow and Wednesday,by Easter weekend up to 50 and the long range says in the 60's the weekend after next one coming up.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/biggystretch.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/fritzbone.JPGFritz stretching before getting out of bed this morning and with his bone squeaky under the table,thought I was going to take it from him.Chilly here this morning get a tiny bit of snow and a cold wind after rain most of yesterday,28 degrees right now with a few flurries falling.Fritz was either in the window or on Mom's bed ,she was at a church meeting,He was still up there when she came home and stayed there when she came down,had to get cheese to get him down,Had a snoozed under the couch,came out ,went out and then to the window then to my bedroom and finally to Mom.I had Pancakes for breakfast ,he had some,he cuddled with me and is now behind the couch.Dad's only living brother Elwood is not good,had trouble remembering thing from 5-10 minutes before,can't remember at al but can remember when he was married and his kid's birthdays.Needs help to get dressed and bathed,possibly could be Alzheimer's,looks like she going to get some help,she is in a wheelchair,their house is up for sale,hope to move in to town,right now live a few miles out of town,house is kind of small.This reminds of what we went through with dad,not a good situation to be in.

Sorry to hear about Elwood, Barry. My mother is the same way. Some days she's good and others she's not good at all. She's in great health but her memory is gone. She can also remember things that happened long ago but very little about what just happened. I will say a prayer for him.:(

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/biggystretch1.JPGFritz streching out before he got out of bed this morning.he stayed upstairs last night,Mom went to a Maundy Thursday service at church, Fritz barked at kids going by.he was first in the windiow then in the bedroom,greeted Mom when she came home,came down shortly after,Snoozed under the couch,went when we did,went to my bedroom first,getting cleaned up then to Mom where he cuddled right beside ,had his head buried in a blanket this morning.he had some Pancakes from me this morning,was in the window ,no kids today,was behind the couch also then with me in the chair.He then went out and then gave him a brushing.He was hungry this morning his own food so filled the can and he had some from his dish,just had a Hot Dog,he had some ,Mom having some Date Bread,he rushed upstairs to something from her.Marlene and Larry gone to the cottage untuil Sunday,coming here for dinner Sunday.Mom and a friend going to a Sunrise service at a little cemetary outside of town Sunday morning at quarter to 7,then the Easter service at 10:30 .

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/windowtime1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/chairstretch.JPGFritz this morning in the window and in my chair all stretched on his back.Last night,had a snooze under the blanket then under the couch,had Iams bones as he hadn't finished supper,he did that before bed again.He first went to sleep with Mom and at 1:30 this morning ,he wandered out to the living room,Mom went after him,asking if he needed a drink or to go out,hid under the table,so Mom went back to bed,he came a few minutes later and jumped on my bed and slept in various parts of the bed,beside me or at the end of the bed.Went to Mom's bed after getting up.He had some cereal and toast ,was in the chair with me,now on the couch,Mom went to a funeral of a lady from church who passed away last week.May be up in the 60's by Friday but Sunday it goes down to 43 ,maybe a rain snow mix,,maybe the same for Monday and Tuesday next week,one guy said it was going to be 54 another 43 so who knows.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/mychairbeg.JPGFritz begging to get up in my chair this morning.Had to get him downstairs lsast night with a piece of weiner,was under the dining room table,didn't eat all his supper again,relies on our food too much.he had a couple of Iams bones last night then snoozed under the couch.He went to the living room after going up,he was growling after we went to bed so got a weiner again and took him to bed andwas quiet.He was with me in the chair then went to the window,was there a few minutes and all of the sudden got down and went under the table to bring up,he got out and then brought up in front of the couch ,more fluid than anything ,a little food then put him out,then he went to Mom on her knee while she talked to Marlene.I just was up there and he was by himself in the chair flipped over on his back.Nice and sunny her,going up to 57 ,66 by Saurtday,46 on Sunday ,maybe rain,same for Monday and Tuesday 43,43 on Wednesday also .

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/curltime3.JPGFritz curled up under the pillow this morning.He slept until 10 to 8 this motrning,Taffy was here but all Fritz did was sleep and have some Iams bones and water.The dinner show Malrene and Larry went to ran late as one of the actors was sick and then another person had to read the lines so it went longer than expected,they got here to get Taffy around 11:30.Taffy and Fritz got along,Taffy left one wet spot on the carpet,other than that fine,Mom took her out twice,then she would snooze on the big couch or the small one,Fritz would be underneath,he scratched the carpet under there and Taffy didn't know what to make of it.Mom's cousin and his wife came by for a visit,they have been meaning to since Dad passed away and finally came.They had just got back from being in Florida for 4 and a half months.had a nice visit,had ot watch Fritz,he stayed next to me.They have a Pomeranian named Brandy,it growls Evelyn the cousin's wife when she gets mad at her.Fritz didn't have breakfast,cuddled with me in the chair,probably still on the couch snoozing where I saw him a few minutes ago.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/comfybeddy.JPGFritz htis monring snoozing in my bed.He started out in the living room in my chair,hear dhim fgrowl so got some weiner,got him with Mom,after a few minutes went out to the kitchen,needed a drink,had his drink, went back to bed and he followed soon after with me either sleeping in front of a pillow or at the end of the bed.this morning he got real close to me paws up in the air.After getting up,he headed straight to his "hole",after this went to Mom's bedroom when she went to the hairdressers,I tried to get him go out he growled but I carried him out and put him out,he ended up back there ,we went shopping.Mom talked to Auntie Bev,she is doing better,not as tired,she has rare disease something like arthritis and has to talke medication for it for theh rest of her life.She hopes they can get down her when she done with visits to the doctor.Mom also talked to my Aunt,he is still the same doesn't talk,one of their sons is coming from British Columbia to help out.A couple of flowers are starting to come out,,right now 68,same tomorrow,in the forties for the few days and rain Monday and Tuesday.I went out to try and cut the lawn to make it look a little better before i really get at it,I had changed the oil in the lawn mower,got it going finer on one pull,got one pass done and started smoking and backfired then quit,might be too much oil,hope we down't need a new mower,just got this in September and the engine may not be covered by a warranty,a little disappointed in myself for this.

I'm glad to hear Auntie Bev has gotten a diagnosis but sorry to hear it isn't good. I will pray that she has more good days than bad. I can imagine how much discomfort she's in. Sorry to hear about your Uncle too, Barry. Poor fella. Bless him. I'll include him in my prayers as well.

Barry, I hope the lawn mower is okay. I did that once too and worried myself sick over it. It was ok after it sat for a day. I know how you feel.:( I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/windowtime2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/zonkyfritz1.JPGFritz in the window this morning,a dark and rainy,windy morning and on Mom's bed a little later.Had quite a time with him last night,he finished his supper after he was first in the chair,I got up to check on him,he then got under the table and I got a piece of weiner and put him to bed.Around 10 after 1 this morning he was off again,go Mom up,he ended up under the table ,Mom got a piece of Bologna,picked him up,it is all she can do to lift,arm bothers her so got me up and I put him out,horses around before doing anything.I picked him up and took him back to bed.He was there only 10 minutes then he got down,Mom said to leave him and it wasn't long before he was on my bed,slept with me.He came out this morning and had cereal and toast,then up with me in the chair then the window,barked at kids wearing raincoats.He then took off down the hall and under my bed then went to Mom's bed for a snooze,don't know if he is still there or back in the living room.having a problem with Black flies on our back door ,some have got on Fritz,not a lot, he has been biting little,that may be it.Wet and rainy today,again tomorrow afternoon and Wednesaday morning,59 thursday,64 Friday and 72 on Saturday.Mom has a busy week,a Ecumenical dinner with people from area churches at a high school here,tomorrow, is gift shop,Wednesday goes and plays cards,Friday a appreciation dinner for Meals on Wheels people,Saturday has to serve at a dinner at the church,has to make 2 Pumpkin Pies,Marlene making Blueberry Pie.Samantha is 4 on Thursday,probably a party on the weekend,mom has to make up a excuse not to go doesn't want to get Larry mad,getting rather tired of this if only Larry would make up and everything can better again,Mom won't have to fib and say she was talking to other people and not the kids and I wouldn't have to tell Marlene we haven't heard from them.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/fritzhidey.JPGFritz snoozing under the pillow this morning.fritz was down here to start last night under the couch then Mom left to play cards,he first layed down then sat up so I let him up and he went to the window,barked a few times then to Mom's bedroom and did the same.Mom came home around 10 after 11 and Fritz greeted her.She came down for a few minutes,Fritz stayed at the top of the stairs,had to go out and he came down after.He first went to my bedroom then went to the living room and under the table,left him ther and cam eot Mom a few minutes after and stayed the night.Fritz finally got up around 5 after 8,was with me in the chair and after a few minutes there took him out and then brought him in and brushed him,now in the living room,Mom gone shopping.Rather cool here 48 but cloudy and a cool Northwest breeze making it seem colder.Finally will get the prize today sometime after 1.He did cuddle with Mom some this morning and snoozed at the end of the couch also.Fritz is getting a bit tubby,22 pounds so will have to walk him some,when he goes to the vets for his yearly shots,probably will be told the same thing,he needs to lose weight.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snoozypooch1.JPGFritz around noon hour yesterday flipped over on the couch.Before this had some Bologna sandwich.He ate all his supper,we had Hot Beef Sandwiches with gravy, and Caesar Salad,he had some of mine,licked the plate.Had a play with Monkey,carting it all over the house trying to hide it.He snoozed up stairs when Mom went to gift shop,I did some vacuuming which he didn't like.I was half done that upstairs and was about to do the hallway and I turned the switch on the vacuum and the switch sparked ,wouldn't go,finished with another vacuum,just another problem to deal with.He snoozed later under the blanket and under the couch,begged for water.He went up when we did,came to my bedroom,we were ready to go to bed,he runs out and hides under the table so go Bologna to get him out and put him to bed.After getting up today,went to his"hole" behind the couch.Auntie Bev phoned this morning,they are coming a week from Friday which would have been Dad's 83rd birthday.Had to get Fritz outside with Bologna again.Mom went to get nails done,put her hood of her coat up as it was raining,don't think Fritz liked that or maybe as Mom said he wanted to play.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snoozypooch2.JPGFritz this morning on the process of waking up,,when I got up he had all fours in the air and his head under the pillow,got a big laugh from that.Last night wanted water twice,had to be fresh,had some bones,slept under the blanket then under the couch.He went to the living room when we up to bed,wo I go meat again this time a peice of Chicken Loaf.I then carried him to bed,he just about jumped down,stayed for a bit then went somehwere,I heard him in my bedroom,but he did go back to bed.Earlier in the day he brought up his supper,ate too fast right near the curtains,luckily not on them.During the night,Mom heard a animal making a noise crying and crying,Fritz raised his head and listened,didn't bark.Fritz now on Mom's bed,she went with a friend to the Maple Fest to have Pancakes and Sausage,I did some gardening,Fritz at that time was on the couch,heard me,he barked,told him to be quiet,but contunued to make noise.Marlene and Larry went to the cottage ,coming back tomorrow.Probably going to Mcdonald's for Big Macs,Mom was thinking of going to Shannon's she is having a surprise party for brian,he turned 40 on Thursday.I think we are better off not going ,don't want to get Larry and Marlene mad if the heard we went.

What a snugglebunny!! You are one demanding boy, Fritzie!! What a good boy you were not to bark at the crying animal. I know some other dogs that would have barked alot.:eek: Pancakes and sausages sound good. I also love Big Macs. My favorite McDonald sandwich. I used to eat them with french fries whne I was in high school. There was one of the first McDonald's ever built right by my high school in Daytona Beach, Florida. To this day, I still feel like I did in high school every time I have that meal.:) Nothing has really changed.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/hideytime3.JPGFritz snoozing in his "hole" this morning.Had Ham Steak for supper,he had some ,ate his own before that and had Ice cream for dessert.Every so often,Fritz's eyes will run and it hardens up so I have to be careful to get it out, got one done didn't want me touching the other.I was telling Mom this last night and he turned around in the chair and looked at me when I was talking.Later on he was on the back of the couch,thought he was wanting something,had all his treats, bones and water,so I told him to go lay down and he got down out of the chair and under the couch,he understood what I was saying,he sure is a smart dog!He came to my bedroom first,then was going to om's,he bumped his head going though the door opening,rubbed his head and put him down next to Mom,had a quiet sleep,had head buried in the comforter this morning.Didn't have breakfast today,went behind the couch,heard a man delivering flyers,he was out of there like a shot barking.Done two lawns today,lawn mower was fine,do Marlene's tomorrow.Fritz had lunch with me and is upstairs maybe in Mom's bedroom,nice and sunny today 64,maybe showers tomorrow night,more likely Wednesday night into Thursday,no rain friday for the Aubties visit,Fritz doesn't know they are coming ,a surprise.

Sometimes Daisy's eyes run more than other times. White dogs seem to have runny eyes more or it's just more noticeable. I read somewhere that baby wipes are good for keeping their eyes clean but I never tried it. I know what you mean, Barry. I have it with Daisy now and I had it years ago with my RB Benny.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/headyhidey.JPGFritz on Mom's bed this morning hiding his head under the pillow.Last night he stayed upstairs on the bed while Mom was at a church meeting ,he stayed up there when she came home and was at the top of the stairs,he went out wehn we came up and then went under the tsble so had to get meat to get him out and took him to bed.Around 20 to this morning,he let out a bark,he was out in the kitchen ,wanted a drink,I was going to wait for him so i could pick him up,he knew what I was going to do so I just left him there,he came to me and slept on my bed.I got up to blue boxes out,he was still on my bed then went to Mom.After this,he came out and was behind the couch in his "hole".I went to cut Marlene's grass and do flowerbeds,mom was making Jelly Salad and Deviled Eggs for the Sald luncheon tomorrow.Fritz was in the window when I got back at noon,had lunch with me. He has just been outside,was barking at a little boy next door playing.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/hideytime4.JPGFritz this morning behind the couch in his "hole".Yesterday for super,we had Potato Salad ,Coleslaw and Devilled Eggs,he ahd some,had half of his food,finished it later..Had Ice cream for dessert and then played with Monkey to work off supper.He snoozed on Mom's bed when she went to gift shop,came down after she got home,we had Apple Cinnamon Muffins,he had some of that, then had Iams bones and water.After snacking ,he wnet under the blanket of the couch then under the couch.When we went up,he came to my bedroom.Wew just got to bed when he was going to Mom's bedroom,she called him to get up I went to help and he took off and was under the table so I got piece of Chicken Loaf slice then carried him to bed.Sometime during the night,he got down off her bed to hget a drink,I did hear him shake himself,thought he was with me, didn't hear him drink ,he came back to mom's bed,usually comes to me when he does this.When I first saw him this morning was right next to Mom ,then after had his head under the pillow.He came out a little after that and went behind the couch,doidn't have breakfast.He has been on Mom's bed and in the window,I went to cut one lawn then came back and did ours,Mom gone to work at the Salad luncheon that's my supper today.Nice day tioay 63 and sunny rain tiomorrow,Friday it says showers and 61,other forecasts have it sunny.Tonigth,Mom going to a Auction at a little church west of here in Courtice,Ontario,tomorrow going with 2 ladies to a Salad luncheon at a church in Orono,Ontario town where Mom was born June 3,1930.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/spiffydoggy.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/curlyfella1.JPGFritz this morning in the living roo,came running out fom behind the couch when he heard some thunder,ended up with Mom in her chair, and curled up in her chair by himself.he went to bed with Mom,he was waiting on the couch for me to get some meat out of the fridge then he ccome,I gave it to him and took him to bed.He heard thunder in the night,he was in my room,don't know for how long.this morning he sniffed near my chair,carpet was wet,he peed there.I finally took him outside when it wasn't rainging then ,curled up in a corner of the kitchen,thern shortly after came out and growled wanted water so had that.He had a good time at the groomers,shook and panted on the ride there,jumped at the door going down,then at the bottom,couldn't wait to get therre and play,he played with one cat,other one doesn't lke him,all kinds of dogs there,one looked like a Bichon ,also a couple of Shih Tzus,one of then was brought by the groomer Michelle and he saw me and started waving his paws.He was tired from playing and had a hard time standing when it was time for grooming,he got cut a little short on one side,it is a big black spot.I had to carry hiim to the van,he wouldn't walk, and rode on the back seat on the ride home,the when he got home,curled up in the kitchen.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/stormynap.JPGFritz on my bed this morning sleeping.He went to bed with Mom at first then at 11:00,he was off the bed barking,somebody thought it was a good idea to set off firecrackers,Mom had me come out to grab him when she gave him meat then gave him Gravol,took him to bed,was off almost immediately,firecrackers still going off,were close by as it lit up my bedroom.he came to my bedroom once tried getting up couldn't then left,maybe then he left a deposit in the living room ,he came back to me and I gave him a boost and he slept with me the rest of the night either at the foot of the bed,near the pillow or like this morning cuddled up to me.It was then that it was thundering,kept a hold on him and he stayed on the bed even after I got up.When he came out went to Mom and cuddled with her and then by himself,the Gravol made him tired .Mom gone to the cottage with Larry's sister and husband ,will be back between 7 and 8 tonight.We will probably give him Gravol again tonight,could be more fireworks.

Awwwww.....poor Fritz!! Sorry it's so noisy, sweetie. Delilah shares your fears and she's been through more thunder today. She hovers in the bathroom. As long as she stays in there, there's a bit of a sound barrier so she hasn't needed any medicine. Thank goodness. I just don't like to see her drowsy. I hope the noise stops, Fritzie. http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snoozypoochy2.JPGFritz on my bed sleeping this morning.Before bed, we give him Gravol, and after taking him to bed,he heard fireworks and got to barking ,so I gave him meat and took him oit bed.Not long after,got down again,came to my bedroom and was trying to get comfy on the bedspread.He left and came back,tried to jump on my bed,gave him a boost and he slept with me the rest of the night.He had toast and cereal after he got up,spent time behind the couch and in the window.Fritz slept in Mom's bed while we were at church,had some Hot Dog with me for lunch.We had Beans,Chicken Nuggets, and Caesar Salad for supper,Fritz had some Salad,had Ice cream for dessert,he did too.It was a good party at the cottage for Larry's party,lot of family and friends,30 in all,he was surprised.Marlene had Top hat with a flashing light on it and he wore it the whole time.At first Taffy was out in the rain,was brought in and Larry took her upstairs,she doesn't like big crowds of people.Fritz was pretty god here with me,barked at a few things,mostly nothing,was in the window and on Mom's bed.I had a Turkey TV diner for supper,he had a little of that, and Ice cream ,he did too,ate his own ,finished his before bed.frost warning tonight,low of 36,tomorrow sunny and 59,rain on tuesday and 61 ,68 and Sunny Wednesday,75 and sunny Thursday and 77 on Friday and sunny.Fritz now under the couch down her,will be given Gravol again,more fireworks in store,tomorrow also.

Great pictures, Barry!! Fritz is so handsome. After a few days, Delilah gets used to her medicine too. I hope those fireworks come to an end soon. Here at my house, I have to say it again, the people that are setting off the fireworks are not affected by the bad economy. They buy more every holiday. I feel so bad for Delilah.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/earlyflipper.JPGFritz flipped over in the chair this morning.Fritz is in a big hurry to go up to bed but not to the bedroom,goes first to his dish then to the couch or chair.I have to get him a piece of meat to go to bed.I got him and took him ot Mom's bed,shortly after got up and went to the living room,hear him growl so got meat again,took him back to Mom,didn't stay came to my bedroom and slept on the carpet or my bedspread which he did this morning.Fritz woke up before 6, and went out to the living room,Mom was already there,couldn't sleep,Fritz was upside down in the chair.He was with me when I had breakfast.After breakfast,he went behind the couch for a few minutes then came out and tail was wagging so took the cereal and toast over and he had it while between the couch and the end table.Fritz was in the chair while Mom and I changed the bedsheets,then was on her bed when we went out to plant Geraniums and a couple of Grass plants,was still there when she went for groceries.Now in the living room,had some sandwich with me for lunch down here.In the mid 70's here now and sunny,no rain until Tuesday

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/lookyfritz2.JPGFritz looking out the window this morning at 6:15,too early for anyone to be out and about.He came when we did,I had to get him meat,then took him to my bedroom,stayed a few minutes and was going ot Mom's,I went out to get him and he took off to the living room so left him there,he likes to be out there a few minutes before coming back to bed,in this case he came back to my bedroom and slept on the floor.he hjad toast and cereal from us ,had a snooze behind the couch and in the window,also had a little play with his Monkey.He had a snooze im Mom's chair when she went to the hairdressers,was on Mom's bed when we went out,Mom took me ot the bank to cash a check,then to get some soil to plant some more flowers,Pansies,took my watch in to get fixed,get it back in a few days as owner's father just passed away.Had some French Fries for lunch so did Fritz,having Garlic Bread Pizza for supper,Fritz will get his own and maybe some Pizza if he eats all his.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/littlebud.JPG Here is my littlebud Fritz on my knee this morning.had to get him a piece of meat to get him to bed,he was waiting under the dining room table for it,he had it and i took him to my bedroom and he sloept on the floor all night,no problem.this morning gets up at 25 to 6,goes and jumps on Mom's bed ,looks at her and buries his head under the pillow.he then was begging for something ,maybe to go out which he did eventually,got his leash wound around a pole by the shed,got him loose then he took off to the door,let him in,undid the leash and he took off like a shot,blitzing around the living room and ended up on my lap,then he went to the window,didn't have breakfast,barked at people at a yard sale next door.Mom and I were to the shopping center,he snoozed on the Mom's bed,had some sandwich with me,is upstairs somewhere snoozing most likely.Mom going shortly with my Aunt and Uncle to a memorial service for their Daughter In-Law's brother and one of his kids who died recently.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snoozebud.JPGFritz snoozing in his bed in my bedroom this morning.He is getting smart,he knows he is getting meat so he waits by the dining room table for me to get it,I take him to my bedroom and he goes to bed.This morning had his head on his bed and the rest of him on the bedspread,before that had been on Mom's bed ,his head under the pillow.He was in no hurry to get up,was still snoozing when I made my bed,didn't have breakfast.Cuddled with Mom before we went to church,he was snoozing there when we got back.Had a sandwich with me for lunch,we had Ham Steak for supper with a Baked Potato and a Caesar Salad,had some Salad and Ham,had some Pineapple Cake for dessert.Had a play with his Monkey after supper,had a snooze on Mom's bed a little after that.Mom gone with a friend to hear a German String Ensemble play at a church in a village west of town.Fritz outside on the back step having a rest,will bring him in shortly.Nice weekend in the 70's and suny,same tomorrow,chance of rain on Tuesday afternooon,more of a chance Wednesday and thursday, so will one lawn on Tuesday instead of Wednesday and do my sister's tomorrow instead of tuesday

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/buddyboy.JPGHere is my buddy boy Fritz this morning with me in the chair.I got him to bed last night before I was ready for bed,but not long after going to bed,he wnet to Mom and slept.Around 2 ,he came back and slept on the bedspread,then at quarter to 6 this morning heard a noise outide and barked and that got me up.He didn't have breakfast ,was late for it,snoozed behind the couch and in the window.Fritz had a snooze in the window while I was out cutting grass,did 4 today including ours and one tomorrow as we have rain coming for Wedenesday and Thursday and into Friday morning so getting it out of the way early.Fritz had some sandwich with me for lunch,supper was Macaroni and Cheese and Scrambled Eggs,Fritz got to lick the plates.had some Peanut Butter cookie from me and Mom and the juice from some Pineapple from Mom.We are now all down here ,Fritz under the couch,Mom snoozing,I am a little tired from all the lawns I did today.Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day today

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/peekybud.JPGFritz peeking out the blanket on the little couch last night,was in there for a little while then came out and wwas waiting to go to bed.After we went up,he went out then ame in and had his supper,hadn't ate it in 2 days and had a drink.He then came to my bedroom.Not long after,went out to the living and was growling probably wanted in the window.When I got out there,he was under ther table waiting for meat.I took him back and he disappeared again after trying to jump on Mom's bed.He had been out in the living room and left a deposit wasn't happy,I said you will be going to your own bed if you keep this up.I took him back to my room where he slept until 2:30 and went and slept with Mom the rest of the night.he had cereal and otoast from me,ate it while in the window,has snoozed behind the couch,on it by himself and with Mom,he saw here sleeping and was begging trying to get her attention.he also cuddled on my lap then later had a Roast Turkey Sandwich with me,now snoozing on the couch.Another gray day,had some rain this morning and more on the way this afternoon and evening,thunderstorms also which could bring the total amount of rain today to 1 to 2 inches,Fritz now barking at something maybe the mailman.Mom going out to play cards tonight so looking after Fritz,then tomorrow a Potluck diner at the church.

Later on,went to Mom's bedroom and snoozed when she went to the hairdressers.He had been in the window and I had ot keep hold as there was someone here to clean the furnace so he stayed with me upstairs,Mom was at a Potluck dinner at the church.Got a quarter inch of rain last night,not what we were supposed to get,not as much rain and no thunderstorms.Chance of a shower tonight and tomorrow,nothing again until Monday a 40% chance.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snoozebuds.JPGFritz on Mom's bed this morning with Mom,pillow partway in the air.he came up with me and Mom .I got ready for bed this went to get some meat form the fridge,he was right there waiting,took him ot my bedroom,the immediately took off again to the living room .He stayed there a few minutes then started barking so went out got meat,got him and Mom and I took him and put him in his bed.He barked at first then settled down .Mom ogt up a little after 5 and got him out of his cage.Mom went back to bed,he then growled for water, I go that and I went back to bed,he then went to Mom and crawled under the covers, it was cool out 43 degrees.he had some sandwich with me.Mom and Fritz both got birthday cards from the Aunties.They are going to miss both birthdays,mainly Fritz's,they want us to come some time for a visit,maybe soon.Fritz will be 7 on Wednesday,Mom will be 79.We are going with Marlene and Larry Wednesday night for supper.Fritz ate all his supper tonight,Mom gone out with her church group for supper,Fritz up on her bed snoozing.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/peekingout.JPGFritz last night peeking out from the blanket on the little couch,he heard Mom talking to Marlene,they are at their cottage.Fritz also wanted water,had to take it to him on the couch,also a Iams bone,he dropped it on the floor from the chair,had ot pick it up.He cuddled with Mom then under the blanket.he went up to the living when we went to bed, was laying beside the Monkey stuffy.A few minutes later either a shotgun went off or firecrackers,he growled a few minutes then quieted down,then came to me.At 20 after 5 went to Mom's bed and buried his head under the pillow ,mom didn't hear get on the bed.Had toast and cereal,wanted Mom's dish in a certain spot,,sat and begged,wanted my cereal bowl and toast in a certain spot also before eating it.Mom talked to Bev,Fritz went over and was on mom's lap,he knew who Mom was talking with.It is her birthday today.She hasn't been feeling too well,the medicine she takes for her problem has caused pressure in her head and one leg has been giving ou so won't be going anywhere today.Irene's birthday is on Thursday,she is having a procedure on her hip,so Mom will phone Wednesday night to wish her a Happy Birthday,Lousy weather tomorrow,showers,then wet on Monday and Tuesday not good for grass cutting,doing ours shortly.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/headyhidey4.JPGFritz with his head hiding under a pillow on Mom's bed this morning.At first last before we went to bed,Fritz was under the dining room table.Around 11,he came to me and slept on the floor next to the bed.After I got up this morning,he went to Mom's bed and slept.He first had my cereal,had a piece of my toast then went to mom and begged her to moved her plate where he wanted it next to her chair.Fritz had that and came back and finished my toast.Then it was time to go the vets after I cut grass.We first stopped at Shannon's to drop off a card for Brandyn who turns 8 on Thursday.Mom gave him money that was from me and her,he came out ands thanked beforte going to school which was right across the street.Samantha is a cutie,she came out the door and kept waving at me with one of the kids Shannon does daycare for,had to wave twice as we left,they are having a party for Brandyn on Saturday,not sure if we are going,don't want to make Larry and Marlene upset.Brian is having a MRI shortly,has had dizzy spells,at times,he is right out of it.Doctor said he should get better,that what Brandyn said too.Fritz was a god boy at the Vets,would se people there and tail would go,nobody came to him.the we went in a room first was weihed ,he is 21 pounds,vet didn't say he was fat,he trieds to give him a kiss before his shot,he didn't make a sound.he will go back next year for the same thing,Mom will have get pills when he starts scratching,only if it warm,if it stays cool like it has,maybe not.He had a snooze after supper,had all his food,snoozed on the carpet and I just checked him, he needed a drink,had that and have put him outside before he comes down here to snooze most likely.Have had a little rain,maybe more again later and tomorrow morning.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/lookyboy1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/lookyboy2.JPGFritz looking out the front window this morning.Last night he begged for water,got it and set it on the floor,he stayed on the coffee table first at one end then the other tail going wanting me to bring it to him which I eventually did.After this,he went under the blanket on the couch,burrowed his way in and getting situated when he came out the other end,he looked rather silly wondering why he wasn't not under the blanket.He went to the living room and ,laying there before going to mom and stayed there all night.Didn't have breakfast,was in the window and in Mom's chair, and me too.He had some Egg Salad sandwich wiht me,Mom had c gone with friends out for lunch,she had some Pizza,brought some hom for me,had Red Peppers on it,really hot,gave Fritz some ,not the Peppers,he is now snoozing on the coffee table after begging for Iams bones,had those before napping.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/restybuddy.JPGFritz resting with his head on my on my knee this morning,couldn't get up to get breakfast as he was right across my lap and had ot waiting until he cuddled in next to me.fter I got up to get breakfast,he went behind the couch to his "hole".Last night,had ot get a piece of Cinnamon Swirl bread to get him down her.he had a couple of iams bones,some biscuits from mom,had a drink,didn't have to get it for him,had a snooze in the chair then under the couch.Mom had to ring the doorbell to get him upstairs,then went out,came in and had a drink and went to the livingroom,then went to the bedroom was trying to jump up,couldn't get a good run at it,so i went to help then he makes does this every time I go and help him.He stayed there all night then this morning buries his head in the pillow.Mom talked to Auntie Irene,her birthday today.Bev not feeling too great,getting frustrated and losing patience.Shannon having a party for Brandyn on Saturday,not sure what we are doing,if not may go to the Ribfest here which goes from Friday until Sunday.Having an outdoor church service with all the churches on Sunday at Rotary Park here,supposed to nice and Sunny that day 73.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/playpals.JPGFritz after supper yesterday down here with his Monkey.he had brought it down to play.Had a play with him upstairs with too.Had to get him down here last night with a cheese slice.had a Iams bone,later begged for water,was with mom in her chair then mine then under the couch.He went to my chair in the living room before bed,I was in bed when I heard him growl,got a little cheese slice and took him to Mom and he slept quietly,he was right beside Mom this morning.I heard him at 20 to 6 this morning thought he wanted out,he was talking in his sleep,still on the bed.He did not have breakfast,went behind the couch,then the window sand then to Mom's bed,heard a noise and and got down so put him out then back to the window, Mom had gone to the hairdressers.Had lunch with me,then wanted water,now with Mom in her chair.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/stormyboy.JPGFritz sleeping in his bed in the laundry room this morning.We had an unexpected thunderstorm go through with Lightning and Thunder and torrential rain,the noise scared him,he barked.We then went up to bed ,gave him some Gravol then put him in his bed down here,whined a little but soon quieted down.Had one awful bang of Thunder that scared the pants out of Mom and me.I got up at 20 to 7 this morning,went down to Fritz,tired to get him to come out,he growled a couple of times and he stayed there,he was there until after 8 this morning,the Gravol worked on him.He had cereal and toast,had lunch with me.He ate ghis own supper after ours.After supper, he is looking for his Monkey,tell him it is down here so he goes and gets it,then had a paly with both of us,now snoozing in the kitchen.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/duckychat3.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/duckychat4.JPGFritz out this morning chatting with the Ducks.Hhe was telling them that he slept in my doorway of the bedroom to start,was there to at least midnight,possibly longer.then at quarter to 2 ,the Carbon Monoxide detector,said it was low on batteries and that got Fritz up and growling.He stopped after a few minutes then came back to my bedrom,slept on the bedspread.He went to Mom before I got up.He had cereal and toast,he begged me to move it closer to him so I did.Spent time in the window and with Mom.Had lunch with me,he ate all his supper tonight ,had some of ours.Marlene camne this afternoon to go with Mom to get flowers for Father's Day,Fritz was happy to to see her,probably kissed her.Mom now at gift shop,he is up on her bed.He goes to the groomers tomorrow,thunderstorms a possibility tomorrow afternoon,he won't like that.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/gettyup.JPGFritz outside his cage this morning after I let him out.last night,we had to ring the back doorbell to get him upstairs,went outside then he went to my bedroom.About 5 minutes later going to bed,he was in the hallway,I wnet out ,he then took off to the living room.Not long after that,he barked,that was it so took him downstairs,whined a little then settled down.He went behind the couch after getting up,no breakfast.He was in the window when we went to the bank.He had lunch with me,had all of his supper,Spaghetti sauce on it,had Spaghetti and Garlic bread again.Had a play with his Monkey after supper.He did a lot of barking,Mom was out at as friend's fsashion store having coffee and shooting the breeze. Fritz now under the small couch.
