I bet its amazing to get to see Lorikeets and other similar birds in their natural habitat... then again, you are probably used to it by now. :) Either way, this is a beautiful shot! Thanks for sharing a little bit of Australia with us.

I've always wanted to visit Australia. Why can't it be closer? Several members on my Ford Aspire message board (called Festivas there) are from Australia and they're alway posting pictures of beautiful things.

Those Corellas are such beautiful birds!
You are so lucky to live where you do. Just being able to see those birds would tempt me to call it paradise. :)

Fabulous photos! I have seen the other 2 birds before but I don't remember the corella at all.

What type of tree is in the first photo? The red blooms are lovely! Does it have a fragrance to it?

Thanks for sharing this beauty with all of us.

In all my travels, I loved Austrailia best. I'm blessed to have been able to savor a beautiful country with awesome, friendly, great people.

I went more touristy so I missed a lot of the local stuff. You're photos are super!

Wow! Incredible diverse wildlife you guys have in Australia, don't you? Actually at this time we have family visiting from Australia. There was a time when lots of Maltese emigrated to down under!

You have captured some great pics of these beautiful birds. My compliments and indeed it is a haven for people who love wildlife!

WOW! Those pictures are awesome! Those birds are beautiful....that would be so cool to get to actually see them in the wild living free like that. Do you ever see any cockatiels? I'd love to come to Australia just to see all the animals...

Is your little night-visitor friend a bat? Whatever he is, he's darling! And the bird is gorgeous. What lovely neighbors you have!
