I have taken several pics as the two of them have gotten acquianted. This series ends with this mornings playing. Lets start with last night.
Heidi getting close.

A little closer. She actually reached out and touched his ear with a paw just before I snapped the pic.

He went right back to sleep when she sat down.

Now retreating toward the kitchen, but still watching him as she goes.

After a few more like these, I had to go cook supper, Coda joined me in the kitchen and I got this shot of him begging me to turn on the faucet, he likes his water "on tap".

This is the playtime they had this morning!! It's hard to believe they haven't even known each other for 48 hours.
Very first pic of Heidi playing with Coda.

She kept reaching up and barely touching him, then ducking, I couldn't seem to get any shots of her touching him.

Wow- that must be the best introduction ever. I can't believe how relaxed Coda is- after all it isn't his territory yet.
And Heidi seems so ready to share.
And both are such beautiful kitties :)

I love it! They are both so lovely and seem to really enjoy each other. I wish things were going that well at our house. Our boy kitty is just not accepting our new girl kitty, and she is the sweetest thing ever!

I have had kitties my whole life, I have NEVER seen anything like this!!! I wonder if it's because they were both so bonded to me by the time they met? When I moved here, all of my stuff smelled of him, so she had already smelled him, she had even slept on my blanket that had his hair all over it. I really didn't expect any "attitude" from him, he showed me that he could accept just about anything. He was raised with a Golden Retreiver and other cats, he was moved into my mom's with her cats and all her Yorkies and took it all in stride. It was Heidi I feared would try to put her foot down and kick him OUT! To bring him in HER house and only get 1 very small hiss was beyond anything I've ever heard of.

To top it off, tonight I went into the kitchen to make myself a tea, I came running back in here to tell Dave of the scene on our bed!! The two of them were laying with their heads almost touching sound asleep!! I did get some pics of that, but I won't be able to pull them from the camera until tomorrow. Can't wait to post those!!

When I stepped into my kitchen to start cooking, I glanced into my bedroom and this is what I saw!

I was so happy to see them laying so comfortably close only 48 hours after meeting!! Shortly after cooking and eating, I decided I wanted a tea, once again upon entry into the kitchen I looked toward the bedroom. I almost fell over at what I saw!

And yes Medusa, I am beyond pleased! I am PROUD of my furkids!! In my wildest dreams I could not have fathomed such a stress free introduction of two kitties. I just hope it keeps going like this. If it does, they will be cuddled together by this time tomorrow.

Coda and Heidi are so cute sharing the bed.:)
So I guess now you will be able to sleep with both of them in the bed, one on each side of you.
The only time my girls sleep together is if they are on someones lap, then they will snuggle up with each other.

I've been out of the loop for a couple of days I didn't know Coda was home! Congrats! I'm so excited to see them adjusting so well to each other. It's taken nearly 4 months to get mine to behave like that together. I'm so happy for you.

Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers. You helped me so much through all of this. Thank you also for all the great comments. Coda and Heidi wanted me to thank you for all the compliments you gave them. We will keep you updated on their lives together.

It must make you feel so great that these 2 have no issues with each other!

I see Coda likes to lay in the position of royalty - front legs stretched out and paws crossed! Must be a Meezer thing, since my 3 always did that, as does my brother's also. :)

The next pic I want to see of Coda and Heidi, is that of them snuggled together! ;)

I MUST be a Meezer thing, because my Ming does the same thing. I do believe they think they are royalty, even more than most cats do. I could never be without at least one Meezer, though.

I'm sorry for jumping on the bandwagon a little late here, but I read your thread in regards to getting Coda back home to you. What a delight it was to read that everything turned out so well.

Coda & Heidi are absolutely beautiful. I am so happy that the intro's are going well so far. You can still see that Coda has some reservations while on the cat tree with Heidi below him. But the last picture of them on the bed is "PRICELESS!"

I am so happy that you were able to bring your baby back home where he belongs, with you. :D

I've missed reading your other threads:o but I'm so happy to see that both of your cats are getting along so well so quickly.:) Please keep the pictures coming.:)

This has only happended to me when I've introduced kittens to my other cats and even then it took a few days except for my RB Pepper and my Storm. They bonded in only 1 hour. Storm was about 1 and Pepper was only 9 weeks old.

I'll post more pics as soon as I get some more taken. The two of them are getting along fabulously!! They still don't cuddle to sleep, but they sleep close together. Where you find 1 the other is right there. They have now started the "tearing through the house" playing. They tackle each other left and right, especially while my fiancee is trying to sleep.
