Wow.

I am done. I just dropped off my Bachelor of Arts final folder to the arts office this morning. All I have left is the photography show on Sunday night but that's about it. No more classes, no more homework, no more "being on schedule".. I'm going to be graduating next weekend on the 22nd from The Ohio State University! WHOO HOO!! :D I am the next in my family to carry on my mom's side (last name - she, her two brothers, and my grandfather graduated from here) - so it's a bit emotional for me - that my grandfather recently passed away over the recent summer.. just wish he'd be here to see this.

I wanted to share some of my memories here at OSU, in no order:

Thank you!! :)

Oh I don't know. Right now, I just know, I need to find a part time job as I continue on my job hunt in the arts/media/photography field..

I plan on moving back to Cleveland, and figure things out.. My parents are there, my boyfriend is there.. so I figure, just go back.. and see if it's the right thing to do..

Congrats!!! I am sure it is a very rewarding experience. I never was able to go to college being the last of 5 kids. My son will graduate in May and my daughter will complete her first year of college in May. I am so proud of them.

Good luck job hunting. Glad you are going back home to be with your family.

Thanks everyone!!!! :)

Amy, I wouldn't worry about it. College is overrated. Now I have to find a job within 6 months and start paying back all the loans... only if I could find a way to easily make $1,000 a month, hahaha. ;) In my dreams.

I am hoping to find a job that is related to photography/design... that'd make me happy enough.

Good luck with the job search! I'm sure you will find something! :) A job that makes $1,000 a month really shouldn't be that hard to find. It's making the money last thats the problem. Luckily I don't have any student loans, I've paid all my tuition in full each semester...sucks at the time but I'm glad I don't have to worry about paying anything back.

GOOD! I'm glad.. Mike has two to pay every month.. and been doing that since two years ago. I just am looking forward to mine! Haha. ;) Not.

Hopefully I will find something, though. I am going to try freelance photography.. and see how I do with that.

Sorry, I didn't read very closely.:( From the pix I assumed you'd already had the graduation, sorry.

I've been staying up late processing some pix lately so I'm not as clear headed as usual.

Rachel, I wanted to wish you all the best in the future, with your job search and with life, in general! Congratulations on your graduation!!! I can't believe you are finished. Seems like time flew by.
I also can't believe that my "little girl", Helen, will be starting college this fall! OMG! She is going to Clemson University.

Yay! Congrats Rachel! Graduating from a Big 10 College is no easy feat, so congrats on a job well done! I do so admire the Ohio State marching band's script Ohio. So cool! I was in the band at Purdue, so I'm allowed to admire such things. *snicker*
Good luck on the next step ahead! I hope you find a wonderful job.
**hugs**
