Despite the fact that it is snowing now, I did see one sure (but sad) sign of Spring yesterday. On my drive out to my nephew's birthday party, I saw not one but two dead woodchucks on the side of the highway.

My front yard is full of blooming crocuses.:) No buds on the tree yet,
but if this weather keeps up, it won't be long.

The daffodils bloomed last week, one of the neighbor's trees has flowered, and I heard the frogs again this morning. (((sigh))) ah, Spring is finally coming!

Spring came over the weekend here, its finally warm enough outside for me to actually sweat. That hasn't happened in a looong time.

Not so much spring here at the Arctic Circle, but I don't mind really, I have missed a proper winter during the last 8 years so now that I have it, I am enjoying to the last drop of snow :D

Days are way longer though (in daylight I mean) and right now, sun is shining

Today the sun came up at 06:57 (Finnish time) and will go down at 18:00.

I would find it really hard to get used to the extremes of daylight at the high latitudes!

I saw crocus shoots on Sunday.:)

That's what those little rodents get for lying about another six weeks of winter!!:p

:( Well I hate the fact of two dead Woodchucks.. Those babies are very rare around here..
:)Now as far as Spring in the air == well its hard to tell overhere in Texas.. We have already had temps in the 90 degrees.. Like today is high of 84 degrees & tomorrow the high is to be 44 degrees.. Its winter or summer.. I have not seen Spring in the middle yet..:o

Poor little woodchucks.

After a beautiful weekend in the 50's/60's, I got snowed in yesterday. Fenway hates to poop in the snow. He's going to wait till Spring. And I can't blame him one bit. :)

Oh yea...dead critters in the middle of the road is definitely a sign of spring! Woo hoo!!! I did see some robins here in Pennsylvania over the weekend. They were very happy robins too, singing away.
