The snow in our yard melted, so we had to go find some. :D Well really I just wanted an excuse to explore the canyons. Anyway, first we went to Bridal Veil Falls.

On to our next adventure...

The trailhead to some of our favorite hikes in the summer. The snow was deep but packed down so we were able to walk on top.

Okay your making me jealous again...I just love Utah...how far is that spot from your house?

Umm I'm bad at judging distances I'd say maybe maybe 15-20 minutes to the falls 25-30 minute drive to the second location (Timpanogos/Stewart Falls trailhead). There's a couple of canyons close to me, these are in Provo Canyon...well technically the second location is on the road that connects the two canyons, its above Sundance.

Yeah pretty much, the road up that canyon is on my way home from work. I can walk to mountain foothills from my house...though they aren't pretty right now, the snow has melted so its all mud! I think most people would consider you luckier with your nice California weather!

Awesome pictures as always, Amy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So beautiful. I love the way all three of them have those carefree, "I Am A Happy Dog" looks on. Your dogs always look so gorgeous and what better background than the snow for them?

Is Sundance the Robert Redford resort? That is the most beautiful part of the country I've ever been fortunate enough to see.:)

Man, one of these days I'm going to have to go visit my SIL's sister (who is also a high school classmate of mine) and get in touch with you. I'm not sure exactly where she lives though.

Great pictures!!! :D

Beautiful photos Amy! I love how Skya's eyes are so "wolfish." Something about her face and expressions seems especially wolf-like to me. All three are beautiful and of course you can't beat scenery like that. Wonderful photos!

Great post! :D No, it was in Park City...but it was at the Sundance Film festival...and U2 did go to Sundance before the film premier too.

Thanks everyone! Oh and anyone who wants to come visit me is more than welcome. ;)
