Do you have a pair of shoes that you absolutely adore? To me, there are few things better than having a nice, broken in, COMFORTABLE pair of shoes. Foot discomfort, especially while working, will absolutely ruin my day.

My favorite pair at the moment (also in the running for the most comfortable shoes I've ever had lol) is my work boots. I bought these things at Sears 3 years ago and they are still alive and well. They kept my feet comfortable working two very physical jobs through TWO pregnancies. I :love::love::love: my boots! Im going to be really sad when they finally give out. I love them almost as much as I would love a pet :rolleyes: :D

Its been my experence that boots rule lol. They are the only shoe that seems to conform to my odd shaped foot.

My mom bought a pair of Columbia winter boots about 12 years ago, and she gave them to me when I moved out to this barn. They keep me very warm and my feet never hurt at all.

Oooo, we had a thread like this before, I'll see if I can find it and snatch up a couple of the pictures I posted on it. ;) I'd have to say my most worn pair of shoes is a pair of black slip on Vans. They aren't backless, but they don't have laces. I'm sure there's a name for them, but I don't know it. :)

My favorite pair of shoes is a pair of brown leather Rockports. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had, and I have worn them pretty constantly in cooler weather for years. Sadly, the soles have worn to the point that if it is raining, the shoes get water in them. I've looked for another pair like them, but I'm guessing that they don't make that style anymore. I've even looked at Rockport stores with no luck. So now I have a new pair of brown leather Skechers that I like, but not as much as the Rockport pair.

I don't particularly like any shoes - they are, for me, a necessity, but not a pleasure. I dread shoe shopping. I realize this makes me abnormal, for a girl, but that's the way it is! The fact that I have strange-shaped feet and need orthotics to fit into the shoes doesn't help, but I do not recall a time ever in my life that I enjoyed shoe-shopping, even as a child.




It is no coincidence that my mother used to ask for volunteers to take my sister and I shoe-shopping, and would even offer to pay someone to spare her the agony!

My babies, my blue and either very dark brown or black Vans :love: They are pretty worn, but I'm most likely getting new shoes over the summer though. These used to be the worst shoes but when I broke them in well, now I'd wear them to bed if I wanted to :) My other favorites were very much like this from target although they were black with some cool designs on them, but they were really tattered so my mom threw them out. :rolleyes:

Right now my favorite shoes are my Zoo York purple, pink and black high tops. I bought them while shopping with my twelve year old great-niece. It amuses me when people young enough to be my kids say, "Hey! Cool shoes ... ma'am." :p

I like skate shoes, too, I have pretty much worn out my grey and pink DC's.
