Hi PT!!! *waves*

I have been insanely busy with vet school! The good news is that I survived the first semester. :p

I wanted to make good on a promise to share Kirk's radiographs with you all. He is doing wonderfully these days and loving Colorado. I haven't been able to afford any acupuncture recently, but he's doing very well on supplements with controlled exercise. He turns 3 about a month from now...so I'll have to update with pictures then!

I also have a powerpoint slideshow about hip dysplasia that I prepared for an animal science class in undergrad. If anyone wants me to email it (13 MB sized file), then feel free to PM me. It's nothing amazing, but some might find it interesting.

Note: bony protrusion has been shaved down, the metal showing is his staples
This is as straight as the technicians doing the radiographs could get him. It is no wonder that his pelvis looks crooked!

I don't have time to write more detailed explanations. I need to study for 2 exams next week! However, if anyone has questions feel free to post them or PM me. I'm happy to answer any questions about these radiographs or hip dysplasia.

Miss you all! XOXO

Thanks, Daisy and Delilah!! I have really missed PT.

I guess I should add something cute to this very dry 'medical' thread....

Awesome pics! They are really interesting! Are you going to school to become a DVM, or a veterinarian technician?? I'm going to school to become an RVT (registered veterinary technician) You said you are in Colorado, are you at the Bel-Rea institute?
