Could be worse. Zerlina will sniff at my orange juice and then try to bury it. :rolleyes:

I agree with that! His blackness and that orange just compliment each other to a "T"!

Xavi, I will have to send Giz to give you lessons on how to play with that boring toy. She LOVES playing with fruit, slapping them around and stuff.. No fruit is safe from her paws.

In a world where everything belongs to the Cat , its very odd to Our Fur Companions when we have things that they cannot play with , or eat for that matter!!!
:love::love::love:

Jen, there is a link here to what I posted when I adopted Xavi. We have now had him three weeks and he's settled in a treat, like he's been with us forever. I also think he's grown in the last three weeks, he seems to have got bigger than when we first saw him in the rescue centre.

Love the pictures and Xavi's play-by-play commentary is great! He sure is a cutie and he does look as if he's grown a bit since his official PT debut. It has to be all of your TLC!

Could I ask you to give Xavi some scritchies and lovies from me? :love: :love:

He sure is a handsome boy.:) I'm surprised that he'd even consider trying to play with an orange. My cats hate the smell of them. I think that only Storm can tolerate them.;)

My fur-nephew Milo does the same thing with grapes ... swat! swat! bat! bat! Then meows when it rolls under something and he can't get it. Xavi, you are absolutely beautiful! Loves and scritches to you and Sunny!

Dear Xavi,

It is important to ALWAYS look you best. Only play with toys that bring out the sheen and silkiness of your fur. I think you have made an inspired choice with the orange. Fabulous contrast with your glossy blackness.

Yours in looking good....

I completely agree with Edwina- my first thoughts were "how clever to take pictures of a black cat with an orange fruit" :)
Xavi- you are so cute:love:

Xavi is so cute playing with his little orange.:D
The contrast of the orange and his sleek black fur is great, he will look adorable posing with pumpkins for Halloween photos this fall.:cool:
