how do I find old posts, from previous years? also is there a way to see all posts made by a members user-name?

:) You can click on the users name & advance search & it will let you go into all of their post or threads started..

Pet Talk... or was it Pet of the Day then, was started 24th June 2000. I'm sure Karen will explain more about this. :)

The first members, other than Karen and Paul, who are still here, are Bari_D and Freckles.

To see posts from a specific user, click on Search, then Advanced Search and type in the user name. I'm not sure whether you can search more than 300 posts back, though. If you search for a specific word, I find it's often best not type in the username. Make sure the right boxes are checked, too. ;)

Another tip... if you search for a thread you know had lots of replies, go to the Forum (eg. Cat General) and click on "Replies". You'll then see that the threads with the most replies will be in front.
