Gent and Diva are both beautiful horses.:D
Thank you for posting some photos and videos of them.
Gent looks like he is such a silly guy, I love the picture of him sticking out his tongue at you.:p
He reminds me so much of my friend's Morgan, who's a real goofy lovebug.
Diva is a very pretty girl, did you buy her from someone at the same barn you board at or from a different one?
Give them both hugs and kisses from me.

I bought Diva from the same man I bought Jake from two years ago. He doesn't have his horses at our barn. Gent is the "boss" and doesn't really like Diva much yet, she's the low girl on the totem pole in the 4 horse herd. Hopefully he will grow to like her. He is a huge character. So much personality in such a little man!

Poor Diva, it's hard to be the new kid and get picked on by the others.
My friend's Morgan is pretty bossy too, he's an attention hog who bosses the other horses around so he gets most of the food and treats.
Hopefully with time Gent and Diva will get to be friends.:)

I LOVE seeing pictures of your crew! They are so well loved and it shows!! What a great lookin' couple of bays you have. Do you have show plans for the Queen D? Can't wait to see more pics!

Way off topic but I finally got to ride a gaited horse (TWH/QH) a week or so ago. It suprised me as I was expecting the running walk to be alot smoother than it was; he was like riding an egg beater. (I think he actually throws in a "normal" trot in there every once in awhile.) FUN but ohmygosh not quite what I was expecting from him! :D

I plan on showing D this year if everything goes well. But if not, that's okay, there is always next year. TWH have to be supported in their gait and there are a lot of them that are not helped approriately and actually pace rather than the four-beat gait. There is also an "art" to learning to ride a gaited horse, it takes a while to figure out sometimes, especially on one that isn't as naturally gifted as some others. I had to learn how to do it with Jake, and then honestly, again, have had to learn how to do it with D as she moves quite differently than Jake did. Her gait has more movement than his and is actually more suited to showing. D is very well gaited and is very smooth, but I have been around some that really aren't smooth at all. Depends a lot on their natural talent, conformation, and training.

Ahh I just noticed you mentioned hes a TWH/QH. Most half walkers do not gait well, it's partly because conformationally they are not correct in structure to do a real true four-beat gait. Half gaited when mixed with a non-gaited usually produces a very rough ride, you are right. My friend has a half TWH and half Andalusian, she's like riding an egg beater too hehe. Not a comfortable ride.

Thanks for the nice comments=)
