This is Cricket - she's at the shelter where
I volunteer (didn't get the permanent job
due to not having a drivers license.. :( --
yesterday was
my last day as a shelter employee,
but atleast I still get to volunteer and play with "my"
dogs and cats at the shelter!

the lady who runs the shelter who was my
boss says this is my home
away from home and I can come anytime
I want! :))

Cricket is a red tick hound puppy and about 6
months old.
She was a stray, I am glad nobody came for
her because she was probably dumped by a hunter. :(

I fell in love the first time I met her, big suprise. ;)
She has such a great spirit about her and such zest
for life! at least she gives kisses unlike Buster.

If she doesn't get adopted, hopefully
she will I'll be able to walk her in the St.
Patrick's day parade but I really hope
she gets adopted by then! :D

this is going to be long so bear with me.

She's so tiny because whoever had her fed her
the wrong food. :( Either that or she's just small!
I want her soooo darn bad, if I were on my own
I would snag her up in a heartbeart! I love her
and she loves me back. :D

She will howl until I come to see her, it's so cute. Buster
doesn't have the hound bay, so it's pretty funny.
I am sure she'll get an awesome home, too bad
not with me but I think a family who loves hounds will snag her up. :)
She
seems to love all people and I am sure
she'll be extra good with kids. :)

Here's her shelter picture and the rest of the pictures
I took with my own camera. :D
there aren't too many clear ones of her because
she's a busy girl. She's a lot more gorgeous in person! :)

she always has her nose to the ground! ;)
but she comes right to me when I call her. :)
I don't even have to use a cookie to bribe her.

Well, if someone isn't smart enough to adopt her quickly, she can certainly fly away with her yummy ears and find a wonderful home on her own. Cricket is precious. She bends her paw inward when she lays down, like my Logan, so ladylike!

Excuse me, at the bottom of your signature, it says I've been Boo'd. What does that mean?? I know what frosted means.

She is so cute!! I love her coloring.. And her big goofy ears!!! I'm sure she will get adoted soon, she sure is cute.. I think she looks perfect weight.. I def dont think she is too skinny, you are suppost to be able to feel the ribs slightly when petting the dog softly..

Its too bad to hear that you didnt get that full time job at the shelter, they counld'nt hire a better person for the job ;). But Dont let it get you down.. You have helped so many animals there and given so much love, they wont ever forget it :)
