Because Texas is my home state, and where I will always call home ... there's not another place on earth like it. And who can listen to this and be sad? :)

Blake Shelton: Playboys of the Southwestern World

It's not the best version out there, but it's the whole song... it's a goofy song, and ya gotta love a song that has "la la la la la" in it :)

Amen to that!! LOL! Any U2 song does it for me but my "Go to" song is Rod Stewart..Blondes Have More Fun. Just a piece of fluff that makes me happy. Guilty pleasure? For sure!

The Joker by the Steve Miller band. Always makes me think of my friend Brock who embodied so many of those "nice" traits listed in the song, lol.

Miss you Brock.

Oh, boy, fun question! I have a bunch!

Love Train - the O'Jays (my oldest niece was in the dance troupe when she was in high school, and she performed a festival piece to this song)

Jesse's Girl - Rick Springfield (1981 - I was in 10th grade and Rick Springfield was all over the radio and also on "General Hospital" -- he was just it!)

Big Time - Peter Gabriel (1986 - my senior year of college - this song brings me memories of a very special time)

Hold On Loosely - .38 Special and Eye of the Tiger - Survivor (both written by an amazingly talented family friend)

Friends in Low Places - Garth Brooks - makes me think of my Italian-Czech friend Lisa who married a Mexican American country music fan from Texas ... <3 and miss ya hunnybuns cos you were taken from us way too soon

Most any good disco song (especially KC and the Sunshine Band or Abba)

And the Rodgers and Hart song "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" -- with the grown-up lyrics ;)

Collin (Reggie) Rick Roll'd me, the little shit! I had no idea what he was talking about, and he asked if I really wanted to know what a Rick Roll was, lol. I'm such a sucker, lol!

I think I have Rick Astley on tape some where in the attic. ;)
