It happened to me! Poor guy was so embarrassed!
I finally decided that if I was going to actually date anyone, I better 'put it out to the universe'. So I paid actual money on an internet dating site I have used so I could send emails to guys that were interested.
One of the men had sent me an email. He is SO handsome I was surprised he emailed me. Of course, it's VERY early days yet, and he lives in the USA. However, we did start chatting on Yahoo Messenger.
Things were going along ok - and at one point he typed, "I would really like to get alone with you."
YIKES! I hesitated, and ventured to type, "Umm....on the Internet?"
There was a pause. Then he wrote, "I meant I want to get along with you."
One wee letter...LOL. :)
